it was self catering, and it was in a convenient location for us to break our journey. The bathroom was good, and very clean.. the cooking facilities were a little cramped. and the sik took up a lot of the space. it would improve things greatly if there was a board that fitted over the sink when it was not in use, which would give more worktop for preparing food

The room was large, very comfortable and well equipped. The surrounding garden was delightful, the lavender bed with all the bees buzzing in it was a highlight for me. The property itself had a lot of character, and was in a rural location. Jane was a fantastic host, communication was excellent and the premises and facilities were accurately described. Breakfast was delicious and of a good size.

The accommodation is very comfortable and homely and is ideally located for visiting the attractions of the wider area (Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral and market, Wookey Hole caves, Stourhead House and gardens, are all within easy reach). There's a lovely well-stocked garden to wander around with plenty of outdoor seating ... there's also the added bonus of off-road parking. And breakfast is definitely not to be missed ... top notch!
We were made to feel very welcome at Huberts and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks, Jane, for a great stay!

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was large and cosy and the bathroom was lovely. We had breakfast and dinner which was absolutely delicious, I really couldn’t fault the place. Lovely spot to visit other areas too, like Wells, Taunton and other places. I would definitely stay here again.

The pub near our b and b was closed on a Friday night after walking there we had to get back in the car and drive into Wedmore. Lucky the pub there fitted us in for dinner. The village store was open until 8pm but nothing to buy for dinner.

Everything is beautiful quality and cleverly designed for storage if you were staying for a few days. Plenty of room for everything in huge under-bed drawers, the whole depth of the bed.
Supplied with everything you need including a powerful hairdryer, not a tiny travel one! Powerful shower in double sized shower enclosure. Nothing feels tiny.
We had an excellent dinner in The Swan in Wedmore too. Have already recommended to friends.
The location was brilliant, the cottage that that wow factor!
It's a short drive into the village of Wedmore which has some lovely pubs and a great village shop, further out you are only a 15min drive from the wonderful Cheddar Gorge (we'd defiantly recommend the Bath Arms for Sunday lunch) and Wooky Hole which are great for the kids to explore and learn about our countries ancient history.
We would 100% recommend and come again.
