The museum is a must see to learn about the history of the town and it's relationship with the sea. The steam trains are brilliant, walk up the 'bump' for views to Blakeney and Cromer. Visit the beach at low tide to see the expanse of sand. Visit the pubs and cafes for refreshment then buy something nice from the wide range of shops. On dark foggy nights listen out for howl of 'the hound of the Baskervilles.'

We had booked a Sherlock Holmes whodunit on the North Norfolk Railway which was absolutely amazing and the short walk into town from our accommodation was so easy and there was plenty to offer in Sheringham so we will be visiting again.

Sheringham is a small town on the Norfolk coast line.

Sheringham is a small town on the Norfolk coast line. It has many small traditional shops and a number of Fish & Chip venues (Dave's down one of the side streets was my favourite). It is within a short drive of a number of National Trust properties and other coastal towns such as Cromer and Wells-next-the-Sea (recommended for walks along the beach and shell collecting).

I had lovely fish & chips from the Sheringham Trawler used twice on my stay, also good meal at The Two Lifeboats next door but one. One of the best places on east coast in my opinion for beach goers and walkers

Attended the 40's weekend which was absolute5 brilliant. Love sheringham. Fantastic place especially if you use the local coastlines service. We travelled from Peterborough with our bus pass and it didn't cost a penny.

Lots of places to eat, various prices, top was Marmalades Bistro, not open every night, you must book, great food, service and atmosphere. The two Lifeboats was good but again book, but online booking didn't work.

We went to Norfolk to walk the coastal/beach paths. We used Sheringham as a base and The Crow’s Nest offered us “space” and the opportunity to sit and relax at the end of the days walk. The apartment had been recently decorated in a contemporary style and was clean and comfortable, and there was a fully fitted kitchen for anyone who wanted to self cater. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower and nice toiletries. The bed was very comfortable.

Fantastic weekend break spent at beautiful Sheringham. Berlington Berties offers quiet accommodation just a 5 minute walk from the town. The hotel itself was decorated beautifully, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the initial greeting and help with our luggage, the beautiful spacious room and the location everything was set fair for a good couple of nights. Sammy and John were excellent hosts and the breakfast was excellent. This is definitely a guest house which goes on our list for the North Norfolk coast

An absolutely delightful and very quirky place to stay. It had everything as you would at home. The location is superb, right in the Main Street, yet extremely quiet. Transport options were just 100m up the street including the North Norfolk Railway.
