The Best Moments Start Here, hotel in Corrie

Featuring mountain views, The Best Moments Start Here provides accommodations with free bikes, a garden and a terrace, around 5.7 miles from Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park.

The location was ideal for being able to experience all of Arran but also finding some peace and quiet. The little stream was loved by our dog and made sitting out on the decking all the more peaceful. Its a compact but very well thought out space. Hosts were super friendly & very helpful.

First time to Arran after spending many holidays in the Cumbrian Lake District and other parts of mainland Scotland .......Arran beats them all! Stunning scenery with lots of things to do to cater for everyone, although we were blessed with the weather and time of year so even sitting on grass or a beach looking at the view was amazing enough. Accommodation at Eastkirk was superb & different. Amenities very good and the garden was beautiful!...........after a few days I did end up googling the local estate agent in case I ever win the lotto!!

The place felt like home - lovely, welcoming staff, stunning views and location, super breakfast and tips for nature walks/hikes on Arran if you're after that (Tony had some great recs!) Rooms are cozy and that sea view/sound is divine - I liked the fact that there weren't TV's. A little oasis of calm in Arran. Hope to return!

Corrie is a lovely village, but it does not have a shop.

Corrie is a lovely village, but it does not have a shop. It’s great for exploring the north of the island, but bus times are infrequent. Perfect for climbing Goat Fell, exploring Sannox beach and the coastal walk. Takes a bit of planning to go further by bus, but not impossible.

I have stayed before here, although it was a twin room which was much bigger and better facilities. The room we got this time was a double was very cramped and there were some stains on the pillow which was disappointing. As the room was located on the slant of the roof, we struggled to not hit our heads on exiting the bed, there was a chair although all of the legs were wobbly and we didn't have room to sit on it as located under the railing where we hung our clothes. The sea view as a very small, old window that had a draft from it causing whoever was on that side of the bed to be cold, but with the electric heater on the other side of the bed, the other person was too warm with it on. It felt all in all that we had been crammed into what should have been a single room. Disappointing as the location and view when outside the hotel was fantastic, staff were all very friendly and helpful so cannot fault them at all.
