The UK's 2nd largest city, Birmingham is one of its top cultural centers. Well-known for its M6 Spaghetti Junction interchange, it's also a surprisingly green city with lots of open spaces.
Most city center hotels in Birmingham are near New Street Station. To the east is the futuristic architecture of the new Bull Ring shopping center, and behind that is Digbeth Bus Station. To the west is Victoria Square, home of the town hall and a German Christmas Market.
The Mailbox is one of the newest additions to the Birmingham shopping scene, and behind it is one of the canals converging on the Gas Street Basin. By one canal are the ICC (International Convention Center) and the NIA (National Indoor Arena), both venues that host major events.
Just across the street is Brindleyplace, a canal-front complex of restaurants, bars and hotels near Broad Street – the main nightlife area. It is popular with students at nearby Birmingham University, whose clock tower is modeled on the one in Siena. Just south in Bournville is Cadbury World, and there are several hotels on Hagley Road to the north, which are available on Booking.com.
The city is also known for sports – Aston Villa and Birmingham City are the top soccer clubs, while Edgbaston Cricket Ground hosts international matches. Other Birmingham attractions include Hockley’s Jewellery Quarter and the NEC arena by Birmingham International Airport.

The apartments are called Etna Apartments in Yardley not BHX Airport HS2
Resorts World. Initially i did assume it was based at the resort world but no the apartment is next to Aldi on coventry road Yardley. To be honest im glad it wasnt at the resort world the resort world is over rated and rubbish. If you want to shop go to birmingham city centre there is nothing at the resort world it is rubbish. You have alot more on coventry road. I must say even though the location was not accurate i did enjoy staying there.cause it was local to everything. Do advice you should correct your location. It is alot more closer to the swans centre on coventry road. Basically 2 min drive. And the location is Yardley. For this apartment not resort world. Or birmingham airport. So everyone do check before driving off to the airport searching for the apartment. When i booked i did assume the apartment is at the resort world but the resort world and the airport is about 15 min drive away. The staff is kind helpful and fast with all your response and customer care. They are kind and pleasant.

The lighting in my room was too dark , I was dressing up for a wedding and I couldn’t view my dress in the full length mirror behind the door. My daughter in law said the same about the lighting in her room. Just a helpful suggestion for the hotel.

Very good city. No problems with transport.
Very good city. No problems with transport. Convenient for business meetings because in the heart of Britain . My children really like the karting trails. I recommend to visit the flea markets in the city and nearby on weekends. They are a real treasure for lovers of things fearsome. In just 20 minutes you can go to Coventry, there are magnificent churches and among them the only church in Britain that was destroyed by the British themselves at 14 . It was left forever as a memory and will not be restored. Great big parks . I recommend to all tourists.

The location was very near to the city centre, which made it very easy to have frequent trips to the shopping centres. I liked the openness of the reception area, unlike other hotels that are very small. I also liked the fact the it had access to a gym. I think that the overall design of the hotel is very modern, with tall windows from the ground to the ceiling with beautiful views of the city centre. With the upcoming HS2 train station, I think this will be one of the best, if not the best located hotels in Birmingham.
Surprised about how comfortable, clean and fresh this hotel was inside! Welcomed well at reception. Room was well equipped, very comfortable bed and not too hot at night. Very quiet and felt very safe and only a short walk from the city centre and train station. The Christmas market was open and looked great. Breakfast was included in our price and was delicious! Great choice of cold and hot food. Would definitely stay again if I come to Birmingham!
Absolutely beautiful hotel with lovely staff eager to help. Loved the breakfast, hot food/pastries and one of the best apple juices I’ve ever had! We had a lovely view of the grounds and even Birmingham city centre which was a refreshing perspective. This was my second visit, we hope to return soon.
This place is more like an American motel, like mini apartments rather than a traditional British hotel. Loads of free parking, great location, not far from the city centre. The staff are friendly, polite, laid back and friendly. I stay here every time I visit Birmingham with work.
The hotel is a fairly new build, so the rooms and corridors are fresh and well painted. It is in a perfect location; short walk to Birmingham New Street and the city centre.
A great buffet breakfast; everything you could want and no rush to finish.
