Everything here was lovely, we were exhausted arriving after a many-hours delayed international flight and diverted trains with a young child, and the hostess greeted us with a warm welcome, made sure we got a dinner order in before the restaurant closed, and showed us to our room. Good food, clean place, nice staff. Overall very good experience.

The courtyard facing the Beamaris castle was nice.
With only 9 bedrooms this Georgian town house can offer an attentive, yet unobtrusive service, combining modern amenities with elegant antiquity.

the staff were marvellous, so friendly and welcoming. they went out of their way to settle us in on a wet miserable day as we came in from the cold.

Beaumaris is a lovely friendly town on the flat full of independent shops (The Exchange was a hidden gem) , plenty to see and do : castle, the gaol and the courthouse. Short distance to Penmon lighthouse.
Lovely food in The Bull and The Bistro. Jollys is the best coffee and cake shop in town !

I know Beaumaris well because my parents had a static caravan at nearby Penmon for many years. You have a historic castle, a decent beach and stunning views across the Menai Straits. These days there has been a real growth in various eateries and bars. Something for everyone and a great base to explore Anglesey itself or, venturing further afield, the Snowdonia National Park.

Quaint sea side town with some lovely old buildings and a good selection of shops, eateries and pubs. Beach was very rocky and not suitable for sitting or swimming. its not very big so getting around town on foot was easy everything was easily accessible on foot. The streets are quite narrow and the traffic could be a bit hazardous. Eating out was expensive. We ate out twice once at the Italian which was lovely and the Liverpool Hotel which had a great menu and lovely food. The Indian takeaway was good as was fish and chips from the Seafood Bistro.
The castle is worth a visit and my grandchildren enjoyed the transport museum about 30 minute drive away. I wouldn't recommend the sea zoo. My grandson gave it a score of 1 out of 10. It was small and dingy and unattractive and poor value for money.
To be honest we found all the parking attractions to be expensive. On the plus the people were really helpful and friendly and the scenery beautiful.

It was unspoilt with so many nice places to eat and a lovely beach and pier. There were some lovely shops too. It had a lovely feel to it and was so peaceful in the evenings with such a beautiful view across to the mainland. We ate at the midland tapas which was lovely and the fish and chips were great from the chippie. We loved the shop Janet Bell and we also loved the ice cream shop.

Rocky and muddy shoreline at low tide but no beach.
Rocky and muddy shoreline at low tide but no beach. Poor selection of takeaways for evening but plenty of pubs serving food. Small supermarket. Some interesting historic sights including castle and gaol (visit highly recommended). Clean and well-maintained town with good selection of shops. Quite a good base for exploring the rest of the island. Pay and display car parks £6 day charge, £3 night charge. One hour free street parking during day. Free at night.

Lovely place , plenty of choice to eat and drink , great views from the wheel. Also , I would just like to correct myself , the name was Jackie who was front of house , not Julia , we had contact with Julia before arriving , whole gave a good belly laugh , the smoky negative I had from the staff was the on duty Manager , the rest of the staff were amazing

The hotel is a beautiful old building with lovely views over the Menai Straight and superbly located for exploring Anglesey and the adjacent mainland. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. The room was decorated in keeping with the hotel style and the public rooms very comfortable and stylish.
Breakfast options were impressive and delicious. The hotel is situated on the main street next door to Beaumaris Castle. Restaurants, bars and the waterfront are within walking distance.
Nice and cosy hotel in great location. Rooms aren't the biggest but it's Anglesey, you're out all the time anyway.
Great staff and fresh, tasty breakfast.
