Location is great, for airport connection or train connection. We really like it when we have a dark bedroom, and since we had a room without windows it was great for us. The room is small, but fine for short stay and the bathroom is also a good space. Beds are not very wide, but we slept well. The breakfast buffet was very good (not often we like the scrambled eggs in a hotel, but these were good!). The staff were all very friendly.

The Vasa Museum is fascinating, and the Royal Palace, cathedral and National Museum interesting. Unfortunately it rained hard on my second day, so I wasn't able to do much or see some of the things I wanted to. No point going on a boat trip in such bad weather.
I also made several mistakes with bridges, crossing the wrong ones and ending up on the wrong island more than once.
I used the metro and trams, and they were very good.
I found the restaurants a little limited in terms of vegan and vegetarian options, though. You don't want burgers or salads every night.

Stockholm is quite an interesting city. It is composed of islands (as they call them) each with its own unique features and characteristics. We enjoyed the castles and some building architectures such as the opera house, parliament, luxury hotels, etc. There are lot of restaurants and cafes to dine in. If intending to go outside Stockholm City, there is an easy access to transport to navigate around. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience in Stockholm.

Lovely city.
Lovely city. Even though I was there on Sunday and Monday, the walking tour of the old town was still interesting. So many places to visit and once you get the set up clear, it was a wonderful bit of wandering.

I only stayed for 4 nights. But I think that's an ideal amount of time in this small but wonderful city.
It was expensive compared to many places I have travelled to but worth the price, as the experiences were all high quality, and unique and the service was fantastic (everyone speak English very well)
I recommend taking it slow in Stockholm, there is no need to rush around for things to do and see and the many bridges islands, and waterways make it a very restful place to visit.

A lovely area, very clean and relatively quiet, however, we did spend our final day with not very much to do, I wouldn't recommend any more than 3 full days in Stockholm, unless willing to spend more money.
We mainly used Google Maps restaurants near me to decide where to eat and of course, tried the Swedish meatballs and lots of bubble waffles.
Explored both the ABBA museum and Viking museum, and the old town (Gamla Stan). Also, the city hall is beautiful and provides lovely walks as did Bergius Botanic Garden and Kungsträdgården Park.
I advise if wanting to take a boat trip to the Stockholm Archipelago for a scenic experience, do book in advance as the one we wanted to go on was not available to book on the day or for the day after and some reviews for other boats tours were rather bad and we did see some very overcrowded tours as we sat by the harbour.

Perfect for those who enjoy museums and fresh air. Friendly staff. Excellent transportation with busses, trams and the very scenic commuter boats. There are nice restaurants around but not as many as in the absolute city centre. Within a ~ 5 minute walk there are 7 of Stockholm's best museums. Wasa ship, Viking, Wreck, Liljevalchs art, Skansen and ABBA museum.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location overlooking Stockholm's historical city centre on the other side of the water. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and seating area, and the staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Also, the Södermalm island offers a 'real' (less touristy) city vibe, with great (vintage) shops and restaurants.
Close proximity to the Stockholm City train station, grocery stores and pharmacy near the hotel, quiet area. Friendly staff and free breakfast where you cat choose a lot of tasty food and drinks. Many thanks to Pura for the delicious food for breakfast and the hospitality of the guests! Best wishes for this experienced employee!
Love everything about this hotel. Spacious toilet. TV can be connected to phone via bluetooth. They provide washing machine and free locker after check out as well. Location is the best! Stockholm City Terminal is around 400-500m from the hotel. Shopping district is within walking the distance too.
