This was our first time to this part of the world, initially to support our son in a sporting event.
However, we thought Stockholm was a very nice city to visit, it appeared to be calm and safe with lots to see and do.
Some trips / attractions do seem expensive but its a capitol city so no different to London in that respect.
I would recommend spending the time to choose and book excursions from home before you travel to avoid disappointment.
The Arlanda express train is more expensive than the bus, but very quick and convenient.
The Royal palace was interesting and the Paradox museum was a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

A nice city to visit with lots to see and do.
A nice city to visit with lots to see and do. I really enjoyed Skansen and the Vasa Museum. Everything tends to open late however so mornings can get a bit boring waiting for things to open. The sights I was interested in were within walking distance of my hotel but in winter, be prepared for some slippery paths.

The travel pass is a must even if you do a lot of walking, it's great value for money and you can even use it for some of the ferries. Stockholm is perceived as expensive which to an extent is true however you can also get around on a budget. I think around 3 days is enough to see the majority of the things the city has to offer and whilst cold, the air is really nice to walk around in.

The experience was awful, they had bed bugs in my room, and I got several bites. The hotel offered to refund, but when I got back to hotel with my luggage in the evening, the staff told me she was not informed and authorized to do so, and I had to come back again for their intenal process gap.
It is just ridiculous, just imagine you have bed bugs in Stockholm with Best Western
Love everything about this hotel. Spacious toilet. TV can be connected to phone via bluetooth. They provide washing machine and free locker after check out as well. Location is the best! Stockholm City Terminal is around 400-500m from the hotel. Shopping district is within walking the distance too.
We have visited many countries in Europe and have stayed in many hotels, but this hotel was far the best, we really enjoy our stay. Rooms are so comfortable and spacious. Thank you. In casw we will visit Stockholm again we will definitely stay here.
The hotel is very modern and tidy - if you are in Stockholm and looking for economic option, it's the best choice. Also, breakfast is also included so it adds more to the value. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nice view from the windows.
The hotel locates near the central railway station and Old Town. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly. This is one of the best hotels in Stockholm.
