Recommended. A nice peaceful farm resort suitable for family reunion. But, access to the resort is a bit challenging (1 km of unpaved road from the main road).
We stayed for 1 night. The chalet can fit 3 people. 2 on bed and 1 on the floor. It has a veranda, seated toilet, shower, towels, tv and bottled water.
Below the chalet, there's a place for bbq and picnic complete with a bbq pit, cooking stove and gas, rice cooker, plates, cups, cutleries, a large ice box (for frozen meat) and picnic table.
Guests however need to bring their own food (fresh or cooked), drinks and ice. The resort doesn't provide any. The nearest restaurant is about 1 kilometer away (had to go thru the unpaved road) and closes at around 6 pm.
There's also a medium size pool in front of the chalet. Suitable for both adults and children.
Activities at this resort are limited. Depending on the season, guests can savour the local fruits. We were given durians during our stay. There are 3 fishing ponds nearby. Need to bring your own equipment and bait.
This place has no wifi. But, strong Celcom mobile connection. The bathroom has no water heater, but the water is clean and has strong pressure. Basic emergency kit is also available in the drawer.
This place is peaceful, quiet at night and shrouded in early morning mist.

I love the Kuala Krai small town environment. It is so energetic in the morning and peacefully quiet at night. This town hold great history but the parties concerned didn't put effort to preserved those. The main road obviously cannot afford more vehicle or it will caused heavy traffic since its the main road to Kota Bharu and it only has one lane to each side. Well planned your journey or you will be stuck on the road and still in Kuala Krai for 2 hours (or more).
