The staff are outstanding. So incredibly friendly and kind. Made the whole stay for me. They even let me work from their dining room so that I'd have some daylight and quiet

breakfast was good - coffee machines like that with a lot of people are a challenge.

We stayed in a room with a "sea view" and loved the view and the location. We would definitely select the sea view room again and would love to stay there again. Food was reasonable and good.
Small coastal town on Portugal's Atlantic Coast. We visited in late October so it was pretty quiet and laid back. Lots of beaches, trails and local beach bars to visit and enjoy. The coast is quite rugged with many scenic headlands.

Milfontes is in a lovely area, with good beaches to north ans south of the Estuary. The Quinta is in a lovely rural area. The disadvantage of this is that there are no facilities for evening meals. Sao Luis has a good basic retsaurant serving well cooked basic meals [several others were close].
I have visited Milfontes several times and have always found it difficult to find a suitable restaurant. If prices are not displayed on the outside menu I walk on by. Previously we stayed in Duna Parque's seaside hotel when it had links with the diocese, and used the hotel restaurant

This is a beautiful, peaceful place with amazing landscapes , great food and perfect to reconnect with nature and yourself. Very few tourists traps in comparison with other places I've seen. All feels at reach and within a walkable distance. You can switch from just enjoying a splendid, quite day at the beach to learning how to kayak in the waves of Atlantic or up the river or just play with the stand up puddle in the bay. And you can even do yoga on a SUP! The water was cristal clear and around 19 degrees early October when I went, but after the first chilly deep this would feel actually nice and refreshing. Tracking is another popular option in the area, with multiple possibilities to explore the nearby spectacular cliffs and hidden beaches. The secret is to come with an open heart and respect the impact you may have so others can enjoy same serene experience you'll have. For me it was a perfect place to go alone or with someone special.

Quaint sea side village with a great beach and nice old town. Everywhere is walkable.
Enough public parking for free. A good few eateries and restaurants as well as a supermarket in town.
Definitely worth a stop over while travelling South North

I was allocated a newly refurbished room which was very clean and functional. The room had a TV and a refrigerator.
The hotel has a very central location within the village with shops, restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The beach is also a very walkable distance.
The owner was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and provided a list of nearby places to visit.
Budget accommodation that is excellent value for money.
In August, we enjoyed the peaceful and refreshing experience of staying in a two-bedroom apartment near nature. It was almost like staying in a hotel. The location was near the bustling area of Vila Nova de Milfontes, but we could still hear the sounds of birds and farm animals like young horses, goats, chickens, and black pigs. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed.
This was the second time we have stayed at this Apart Hotel and will not be the last. It suites our needs completely. Location close to beach and town centre is excellent. The pool and pool area are kept in great condition.
The breakfast was very good, varied and with local products. The Staff was polite, friendly and professional. The hotel was near the beach and near the centre which was lovely because we didn't need to use the car.
Good location. Great for families with young children. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The entire hotel are maintained and clean and tidy condition
