We had a really good stay here! The rooms are beautiful and there is also a sea view. The kitchen has complete amenities as well, oven, easy to use stove, and also salt, olive oil, coffee machine.
The place looks better than the photos!
Sidenote: we wish there was a heater.
Providing a garden, Casa dos Salgueiros offers accommodations in Faja Grande. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

Owner had a cake and cookies, milk, yogurt, eggs and coffees for us. Super clean and super location
A recently renovated vacation home, Casa Florescer - Blossom house offers accommodations in Fajazinha. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.
It is really a paradise. On one hand I want to share my joy from getting to see it, on the other it needs to stay pure and forgotten by the masses. When flying there, our plane had to turn back because of a technical issue, as if I was asked if I really mean it. If you love and respect nature, go for it!

I believe Flores is the most beautiful island among the Azores. Santa Cruz is the location of the airport, small town but charming and clean. People usually visit Flores for the nature, but Santa Cruz is a good place to stay.

The waterfall and views are wonderful.
The waterfall and views are wonderful. The 7 lakes are good places to visit if you have not visited Sao Miguel. The time you need to see all of these only need one day if you are not crazy about hikings. But weather in Flores are uncertain. You may want to have an extra day. We arrived early in the afternoon and was raining moderately. We stayed in hotel that day. Ne t day was sunny and we had enough time to visit the waterfalls and 7 lakes, plus the Ponta Delgada. In my opinion, there was not much to see on the east coast. We left the hotel around 9 am in the morning and returned to the hotel around 4 pm. Our flight departed 16:40. We could leave earlier and possible save a day. But with uncertainty around the weather on the island, I would probably still do the same thing and have some extra time in case the weather is not cooperating.

The island of Flores is breathtaking, it's blue thanks to the hydrangeas growing absolutely everywhere. There are more hydrangeas here than on any other island in the Azores. The capital is tiny, clean, and very pretty. The airport is perfectly located in the middle of the city, and there is a gorgeous park a short walk from the church. There is a very interesting museum.

We loved where we stayed it was beautiful . If you cook a lot or even a little get your groceries in the town of Santa Cruz not faja grande . This area is not really a beach destination it is great for scenIc drives & hikes . Faja grande was my favorite but the whole island has beautiful spots to pull off & take photos . Travel the whole island . Very steep & narrow roads make sure u can drive a manual well ! Enjoyed a meal & drinks at papdiamandis .

The largest town on Flores Island is amazing!
The largest town on Flores Island is amazing! Definitely check out the piscinas naturalis near the airport - it was refreshing. We also enjoyed eating fresh seafood at O Morreau, and visiting the whaling museum.
