The breakfast was perfect. Delicious, and we loved the fact that we could have a normal size cup of coffee. The facilities were spotless, the vineyards were incredibly well kept, and the staff were so nice about answering any questions that we had about the entire operation. We couldn’t have expected much more from a place. I’m afraid of heights, so that part of it was a little challenging, but I got over that because of the Beauty of it all. Thank you!

This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The views, the room, the breakfast....amazing. Plus, the host could not have treated us better! He sat and shared a bottle of wine at sunset. The next day, our train travel was cancelled due to a strike and he drove us over an hour to the bus station. Unbelievable!

The views of the river and surrounding vineyards was mesmerizing and the property so peaceful, tranquil and romantic. Highly recommend it to any couple. The wine and port tasting was very good. Staff was very attentive, the pool cool refreshing and the view! Please enjoy a gourmet meal from the restaurant on the terrace!

Location. Though it high up on a steep climb but we enjoyed walk ( rather trek) up and down to Pinhao.
Parking, big parking under the hotel. Accessible 24hrs. In case the door is closed at night. Room key card works.
Moustache. The resident cat. A friendly tuxedo. He’s a delight. If you are a cat person. This is an added advantage.

We stayed at Ventozelo Hotel and Quinta as a convenient stop on our route from Porto to Salamanca. One night here is not enough if you crave peacefulness and the outdoors. If there had been time we could have walked to the river and through the vineyards, relaxed by the pool.
