We use to live not far away so we knew the area and have been to Sana for drinks before. Very convenient, nicely equipped room and super friendly staff.
This hotel is located in the center of Caldas da Rainha, and is a 3-minute walk from the church Igreja de São Pedro and 1476 feet from public transportation links. It offers free Wi-Fi in public...

Very clean and comfortable with fantastic location.
Centrally located in Caldas da Rainha and inside the shopping mall Rua das Montras, this hotel offers a terrace with city views. All rooms include air-conditioning.
There are lots of bars and great restaurants. The shopping mall was very nice and there are more shops in the town.
I highly recommend the restaurant Real Balcao No 5. for dinner. I also had a simple, but great lunch at Casa Artero - try the Bife Alcatra with local red wine!!

Caldas is a treasure!
Caldas is a treasure! It’s a small, unassuming town, with gorgeous cobbled streets, a very large segment of walking streets in old town, a very beautiful park to meander in, and a wonderful outdoor market open every morning of the year. I found it and its residents delightful and welcoming. I left my backpack in a store and of course it was right there waiting for me behind the checkout, protected by store employees. I so love Portugal and the warmth and charm of the Portuguese people, This town is a beautiful place to stay if you want to do a very easy one day trip to historic Obidos! I highly recommend staying here. Train station is a tiny walk to town.

A great town to visit.
A great town to visit. A good transition point for further travels to closeby towns: Obidos, Fox de Arelho, Peniche and other further towns: Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro. Caldas da Raina itself is also worth visit, beautiful buildings, great park with old building of hospital for evening and all day walks.

Restaurant chef is simply excellent, must go for dinner there
Breakfast buffet has a very wide selection and open 7.30-10.30am
Parking is under the hotel via the LaVie/Hotel entrance
Walking to Caldas Rainha shops and restaurants is easy and a few minutes walk
Big shopping mall is right next door
Different types of pillows are on the bed to suit everyone.
Have to purchase the coffee pods after your first night, and get your own bottled water after the first night
Excellent street market about 5 minutes walk away - a must see
Tips:
Get a plastic multi-use car park ticket to avoid having to get a stamp from reception every time you exit if you are staying more than one or two days, just more convenient.

Clean, quiet, and safe.
Clean, quiet, and safe.
Wonderful to walk in Dom Carlos I Parque. The trees, flowers, and plants are simply spectacular.
The open air or farmer's market has a super selection of fresh produce and flowers.
Definitely eat at Casa Antero, the best restaurant in town for over 50 years.
Be sure to visit the ceramics museum, the Jose Malhou museum, and the Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics factory shop.

The old historical town is amazing.
The old historical town is amazing. Loved the daily fruit/flower market. The Park with it's little lake and surroundings and historical buildings were our favorite, as well as the friendly and hospitable local people.

The breakfast was quite acceptable, with just enough choices to satisfy.
Hotel location is very good, not far from centre of Caldas.
Room was clean, appeared recently renovated, so in very good condition and well lit.
The hotel was centrally located but didn’t have parking as we requested and were informed they had. You have to park in an underground car park a couple of streets away for around 7€ a night.
Couldn't really fault the hotel. The Landlady was fantastic and even offered us a complimentary liquor. The room was very good and had everything we needed for a one night stay.
