The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had a great view of the mountains and lake on the top floor and we used the elevator since we had many bags. There was free parking. The shower was wonderful and the bed very comfortable and super clean! The room was quiet. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent! The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable. and the bathroom was great- excellent shower pressure! We had access to an elevator which helped with the bags and we had a fantastic view of the area on the top floor along with a balcony. I had a minor issue with the reservation on booking.com and the manager/ owner was very accommodating and helped me resolve it. I would highly recommend this property. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Altmünster is nice village next to lake Traunsee with all its beauty that an Alpine settlement can have. Narrow streets, charming country houses with marvelous gardens, no crowd and fresh air. You can take a (steep) ride on to Gmundnerberg (the mountain backing the village) on foot, by bike or by car. Gmunden the neighboring city is a the treasure of the area, good cafes, breweries, restaurants and lakeside promenade with fountain, from where you can get to Grunberg hill with a cable car (lift) to the top and take some refreshing walks from 30min to 3 hrs. We really enjoyed being there and look forward to revisiting it soon.

Great location, short trip to everything.
Great location, short trip to everything. Awesome staff, they'll help you with anything. Cooled drink room where you could pick your drinks (wine,water,beer) only negative was the trafic sound into rooms. Highly recommend it.

Altmunster is a strange town, which can be classified as an unknown spot. It is very close to Gmunden in which you can find people from all over the world, but in 2 km far one can see 85 cars with local registration, 10 with german and 5 all the rest from 100 cars. It has not as many attractivities for the tourists and that's why the restaurants are 10-15 % cheaper than in Gmunden with the same or higher quality.

Incredible scenery and atmosphere. Plenty to do in the area. Altmuenster itself is quiet apart from some busy restaurants so any shopping or sightseeing has to be done in gmunden. There are boat trips and water sports at the very clean beautiful lake and plenty of hiking and mountain bike trips to do. Cable cars take you up if you don't want to walk.catering is superb, we never had a disappointing meal and not overly expensive.I recommend the 'Auszeit ' cafe throughly, open 7 days until midnight.

Great apartment, huge enough for the whole family. Fully equiped kitchen and beautifull view over the Traunsee. We found the apartment and keys very easy. Comunication with the host was always quick and proactive. Walking distance to the public swimming area. Very good place to explore beauty of Salzkammergut region. We really recommend TraunseeBlick for family holiday or even for the weekend!!
The hotel is run by the sweetest and most helpful couple. Breakfast options were plenty and great. The location is just 10 min by foot from the Bahnhof station and is very central. Overall it was a really lovely stay, vielen Dank!
