We booked fairly last minute for a weekend overnight and were super pleasantly surprised. The room is very spacious and comfortable with a view to the park. The bathroom is with warm floor and very clean. Overall facilities are oldish, but this adds to the charm ;) The breakfast had everything necessary, even a prosecco. Also the owners were super nice. We had a great stay

Warm welcome and Karla went above and beyond to explain everything to ensure I had a welcoming and comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent and you can also receive vegane options upon request. Please note to let the staff know a day in advace so they can prepare a special selection for you to enjoy. I highly recommend staying here and will for sure return soon again. The spa facilities were also enjoyable and not over crowded. I express my deepest appreciation for the team who made my stay more than I could have inticipated. Thank you and till next time. Charming and relaxing beach destination within easy reach of Hamburg. The weather happened to be nice during my stay, but it looks like it would still be an enjoyable destination if the weather wasn’t so sunny or warm. Local people were friendly and welcoming, and I learned interesting things about the region.
There are a variety of places to eat, catering to higher end fine dining as well as more humble restaurants. I had a beautiful meal on the deck at Restaurant Rendezvous, as well as a delicious casual meal from the little takeaway huts along the marina. Cafe Ahoi coffee is a decent coffee option, and the bakery Bäckerei Seßelberg Niendorfwas also very good. Gift shop Snabbelsnuut was great with unique and affordable good quality items locally sourced with friendly helpful service, and Lambert Studio has a great selection of lovely homewares, with friendly and knowledgeable customer service.

Even if I arrived late and the hotel seemed fully booked, I felt really welcomed. The staff is nice all the time and the place has a good atmosphere. My room was much better than expected and the breakfast was great. I didn’t have time to use the spa included in the price.
The Tiny House was comfortable for us (2 adults 1 child) and warm. Full kitchen amenities and good shower. WiFi speed acceptable. It sits in a corner of the large garden from the main buildings giving plenty of space. It's a 5 minute drive to the beach.
