Perfect place to stay one or two days and enjoy beautyfull old town, castle hill, museum (Lyonel Feininger in particular) and try some local cheescase (they offer 193 different types of this cake!).

It is a lovely small town. Easy to walk around and see the sights. Lots of restaurants and cafes, it is advisable to make reservations for dinner.
Not sure how good you can communicate in English (we are Germans). There are plenty of things to do around the area, especially if you like walking.

Quedlinburg is a beautiful market town with a multitude of cobbled lanes, fachwerk/half-timbered houses as well as a huge choise of cafes, restaurants and shops. The Schloss and the market square appear to be the two focal points of the town but there is plenty to see if you explore the quieter lanes away from the tourist centre.
One thing to be aware of - the town is not the best for wheelchair and disabled access due to the cobbled streets and lanes.

There isn't much to do, see or eat during evening unless you happen to be in the very center. For this visit I was not.
City itself has a really pleasant and historic look to it, view from the castle is also good.
This city is served by the Harzer Schmalspurbahn.
Would not rely on public transportation to get to or from this city.

A beautiful and historic town with a wealth of sites to visit - castle, churches, museums and just wandering about the old town. I was only there for 24 hours and would have loved to stay longer.
If you are only there for a brief visit, do check in advance that any particular things you want to see are open; some were closed when I was there on a Monday. But I still didn't feel short changed.

very pretty buildings, very old buildings, very nice stories about history, check ahead what to see and when/where to book guided tours, so they will be available when you stay there ! for example special street events or church / museum visits
Lovely old "coaching inn". Very tastefully maintained and decorated in genuine style. Nice large room with very comfortable bed and lovely view over Fachwerk houses towards town. Excellent breakfast. Good dining facilities, especially outside in old galleried courtyard.
Hotel staff were very polite and helpful which made for a relaxing stay. Would definitely choose this hotel on our next visit to Quedlinburg.
We loved staying at this historic property in the heart of Quedlinburg. The modern apartment inside such an old building was so light, airy and spacious, and it was great to have kitchen facilities after a few days on the road. We liked just sitting in the armchairs by the windows watching the street life below - gave us such a sense of living history.
The appartment has a perfect location in the center of Quedlinburg, and you can easily go around in the beautiful city.
To very good bedrooms, very nice kitchen og living room. The bathroom and rest of appartment is very nice and new.
We can recommend an vacation in this appartment in Quedlinburg.

The room we stayed in was big, clean and the beds were comftable. The hotel is also close to the Old towm and the train station. Very strategic location. The staff are also very helpful and kind.
