The staff was super helpful. Although we had difficulty with check-in, the host provided a superb apartment stay. We still came to the hotel for breakfast included. It was a wonderful traditional German cold breakfast. Everyone in the facility was courteous and friendly and so eager to please. The owner speaks English, but staff only German. They slowed it down for us. We ate dinner in the restaurant. Fabulous! It's an inspiring location, steps from everything, with a cozy outdoor dining area facing the ivy-covered hotel.

Gorgeous small market town with cathedral, market square, and good choice of independent shops and cafes. Being so close to the wine region, possible to have a glass of something very local. I can recommend the Gasthof Zufriedenheit for a very warm welcome. Ideal base for exploring the wider Sachsen-Anhalt and Thüringen regions, with links to Merseburg, Jena, Halle, Leipzig, Erfurt… all very regular from the train station. The old tram is also worth a ride and included on the 9 Euro ticket.

Its a beautiful old town with a fine UNESCO cathedral and a gorgeous Old Town centre. Its in a gorgeous location also among the hills, and there are lovely things around, vineyards and outdoor activites.
Absolutely fabulous location in a centuries old building with charming character and friendly owner. Restaurant under big trees next to a gothic church, good meals with excelent local wines. Parking OK. Naumburg certainly worth visiting, especially the monastery.
Great restaurant, with a beautiful dinner and breakfast. Glad we found this hotel, otherwise we would’ve never thought to explore this town, and this town is gorgeous.
