The room was excellent, a bit cozy. The shades made the room perfectly dark at night, and the room itself, though facing the inner courtyard, was perfectly quiet. There was a small refrigerator with a complementary bottle of water. The shower and bathroom were immaculately clean, and the shower itself was wonderful.
The hotel staff was very helpful and nice, and helped with everything we asked.

Renowned for its stunning architecture and the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest, Munich needs little introduction. Its vibrant cultural scene, great shopping and fantastic museums speak for themselves.
Munich has something for everyone: from historic palaces and castles, to stunning royal avenues to world class galleries and museums. Don't miss the new city hall, or Glockenspiel, in the heart of Marienplatz or the former residence of the Bavarian kings, the Residenz. Munich is also home to the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus.
For great shopping, Karlsplatz is a pedestrian zone which takes up much of the city centre and the upscale area around Maximilianstrasse is yet another commercial wonderland. Munich is famous for its food too, so make sure you try the local Weißwurst, Leberkässemmeln and other popular pork dishes.

Munich is oriented towards the happiness of its habitants.
Munich is oriented towards the happiness of its habitants. But as a tourist with a kid, we did not have the best dining experience.
The parks and gardens are extraordinary. They are worth visiting.
Yet, German officials at the airport were not kind at all.

A beautiful, historic city with a huge variety of shopping and dining options. Most everyone spoke English which made getting around quite easy. I loved getting some green space at the English Garden park and felt very safe everywhere I walked. There’s so much to see and experience by foot and train that one doesn’t need a car. The public transportation system is well developed and easy to navigate. I truly loved the authentic German food and beer at the Hofbrauhaus. It was full of tourists but we all received a true German experience.

A tourists paradise, from Gardens to Palaces, Allianz arena to Olympic tower, BMW showroom to Deutsches museum, Marientplaz to English garden and last but not the least the Beer Gardens. Their public transport is just awesome (MVV app and Munich Pass). The Germans are very friendly, approachable and specific about cleanliness. Only thing that let me off is cigarette butts thrown all around public places and no body seems to be bothered about it.

Munich is a fantastic city for sightseeing and cultural...
Munich is a fantastic city for sightseeing and cultural experiences, with a rich history and a vibrant modern scene. It's famous for its Marienplatz square, the Hofbräuhaus beer hall, and its historical significance.
Although I must add people are not that friendly or helpful if you ask someone for help at the Hbf or on the street and especially when you don't speak the language.
We did not want this to be so, but our visit to Munich overlapped with the Octoberfest. We battled to find reasonable accommodation that is affordable, well located and pleasant. Very difficult because of the beer fest. The hotel however is a budgetary hotel, smallish room with two single beds pushed together. They were rather small with a very small duvet cover each.
Though away from the city centre, the hotel is very close (50m) away from a major bus route. This worked very well.
Fantastic central location and great value for money overall. Friendly and helpful staff, good sized room and bathroom. Very clean and modern, with nice views of the city. Great sound proofing too, we only heard some noise from the street cleaning machines and church bells but that's what you get for being right in the city centre - it didn't bother us and we slept very well. Big, comfortable bed too.
Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting Munich!
The location of the hotel was ideal. We booked this hotel as we wished to visit the Christmas Market which was only a short walk away. It was also convenient to visit other places with the city centre.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was cleaned daily.
There was a good choice of food for breakfast.
I can highly recommend this hotel for a city break in Munich.
This is a solid choice for a short stay in Munich, albeit with a few limitations.
The hotel is clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. Check-in was efficient too.
The location is relatively good but is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The city centre can be reached on foot in about 20 - 25 minutes.
The bed in my room was really comfortable.
An old-fashioned hotel in the positive sense of the word: friendly reception, small but quiet and clean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast buffet and decent coffee, easy public transport to city centre, parking available. Good value for money in Munich.
