The breakfast was wonderful! Great coffee and wonderful staff! The frontdesk attendants were very helpful especially restaurant locations since the hotel's restaurant wasn't open on Sunday. The location couldn't have been better. Close proximity to city center and the view of the river was superb. Entertainment at the theatre next door. Parking was very affordable and convenient.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in our opinion. There was a wide variety to choose from. The pool was a bit cool, but with the sauna we were warmed quickly. The pool is not huge, and it is enclosed under the hotel in a very pretty setting. If there are children playing there, it can be noisy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We arrived by train and the walk was pleasant and taxis were available for the return. The location was perfect for the Altstadt area.

Friendly and helpful staff, parking garage across the street (€12,40 per day) and great location - just a few steps to the pedestrian zone (Osterstrasse).
Just 1000 ft from central Hamelin’s historic quarter and the pedestrian area, this non-smoking hotel offers soundproofed rooms with cable TV and free Wi-Fi.

We went to Hameln for the Christmas market, it did not disappoint. We loved the mix of stalls and the atmosphere. It was really festive. The Old Town is very pretty. We ate very well there. I would suggest a visit to the Pfannekuchen Hameln for pancakes in a cute old building with beams and character. We used a couple of bars and cafes and each time the food was great. The town is very walkable, it is pedestrianized and flat. Should be accessible for wheelchair users. It is a small place so a two day visit is probably sufficient.

Hameln is a lovely old town, full of character.
Hameln is a lovely old town, full of character. Of course the story of the Pied piper is everywhere. Found the areas relatively clean, but has gone down a little since our last visit some years ago. We'll worth a few days visit.

Beautiful Town related to story of the Rattenfanger or Pied Piper..Lovely to watch the story being told at midday every Sunday in the summer. Nice places to eat, take aways and bars. Few shops to browse. Lovely atmosphere.

Hameln used to be a lot nicer many years ago, I was based here from 1996 until 2010. Now there are many new apartments where historic buildings used to be and the suburbs have become shabby. It has lost its charm.

Nice small town with an agreeable city center (Alt Stadt) featuring the typical classic German building styles. Many cosy restaurants and shops are available. Parking is easy by underground garages (tief garage) although not well maintained but yet for very reasonable prices. A visit of one or two days should be enough.

We liked our room. Breakfast was very nice indeed!
Very handy for centre of Hameln. Parking was annoying - only a few places next to the hotel. The staff didn’t explain clearly about the underground car park. We thought we could park there for free. However when we were checking out the receptionist wasn’t very pleasant when explaining the payment - I think it as more her ‘tone of voice’?
However, we paid the 9.5 euros as that was a reasonable amount- it really was more about the attitude/ tone.
