A cultural rich nice little city, not too busy, not too crowded, there are lots of nice little corners in the town! The art museum (in German: Museum für Neue Kunst) is also a very nice spot. I would certainly recommend it! The Seepark is also a nice place for a little stroll. There are lots of hiking routes in the Black forests which isn't far away from Freiburg. One can always find things to do there for sure!

Freiburg is a beautiful place, we've travelled a lot of places in Germany but this is our favourite, We highly recommend a visit , its easy to get to the 'Black Forest' and lake Titasee (pardon my spelling) from town.
The town itself is lovely , the cobbled streets and beautiful buildings .
I've lost count but I think this is our third visit.

Freiburg im Breisgau was a surprising gem, they have beautiful green space and parks and excellent biking infrastructure. It's a very bicycle and pedestrian friendly city. We stayed for only a couple of days and I would be happy to go back and spend more time exploring the surrounding areas and the city. It was wonderful.

Such a wonderful town with loads of independent shops, larger stores and old buildings. Very pittoreske. We also hiked up the nearby hill (castle hill) and had great views over the town and all the way to the Vosges mountains.

A fairytale city. The daily market in the Münsterplatz is wonderful and there are some great traditional restaurants there. The trams are a great way of getting around and the university district has a lovely feeling about it. Everywhere you look there is a view to make you gasp - the Schwarzwald in the distance, the mountains and trees and the three icons of the city, the Münster (cathedral), the Martinstor and the Schwabentor

Good hotel in a convenient location in Freiburg. Comfy bed, enough space, good bathroom. Did not try the in-house breakfast. Had a room to the courtyard which was quiet at night. Just 5 mins walking to the Freiburg downtown core. Definitely a good setup and to be repeated when in Reibung again…
Nice clean comfortable hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast with a reserved table, wonderful central location. Cheap compared to other Freiburg hotels. Silent room (provided earplugs but they're not useful!)
Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, really clean. It’s on the outskirt of Freiburg so more quiet. The tram to the centre of Freiburg is in front of the hotel, in 15 minutes you are in the centre of Freiburg!
