A great, cozy family-owned pension very close to the center of town and close to the train station ( about 10 min walk). The owners are kind and the breakfast is hearty. Make sure to have a meal there at the restaurant for dinner. The atnpdipger is nice and the food is delicious. It is suggested to make a reservation since it’s a popular place for dinner or go super early.

Fantastic location, esp. in the evening when the traffic slows down. Our greeter Bernd was so welcoming and friendly. He set the tone! He also helped us store our bikes. Our room with a balcony was worth the extra money. So fun to look out on the river and the crowds. Breakfast was incredible.

Cochem is a quaint German traditional town with an old worldy town and narrow streets to wonder around the shops, restaurants & bars. We liked one bar in particular that played 60’s music and we quizzed ourselves of the title and artist and had fun. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The roads either side of the river do actually follow the rivers wands and bends so you can drive from Koblenz to Trier by the river Model mostly all the way, it takes some time but well worth it , or just do part and stop at little towns on the way. The town of Bern Kastel & the fairy tale like Eltz castle are 2 different places worth a visit.

Beautiful historic town along the Mosel River.
Beautiful historic town along the Mosel River. Nice walk up to the Cochem castle that gives you great views of the town and Mosel valley. Cute pedestrian center with shops and restaurants. Lots of “rooms for rent” that unfortunately don’t have websites. We
booked a mediocre place online but probably could have found a suitable place closer in town if they had websites.

My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away.
What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay.
We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem in the summer is lovely and vibrant with plenty to do and see.
We went for the Christmas market and found it very quiet and the market itself was very small. The town is a lot quieter in the winter months.
The hotel has a great location and the rooms with balcony an amazign view of Cochem and the castle, The facilities are ok, I bit old school. The rooms are big, the bathroom also old in style but eveything was very clean and the staff was excellent. The breakfast and the restaurant have good good, nothing outstanding but ok.
I always stay here when coming to Cochem and recommend it to plenty of friends who do the same.
Decent location, easy 5-10 minute river walk to town. River Mosel literally across the road. Parking in front of the hotel.
Good restaurant, good breakfast and clean good size rooms. Staff friendly and efficient.
Everything was good.
Next to Mosel, only the road is between, and you can walk into Cochem village in 15-20 minutes on a footpath along the river. Breakfast was very good in a comfortable sized room. A parking lot lot with Free parking next to the hotel
Amazing almost fairy-tale view across river Mosel to castle and town of Cochem. Buffet breakfast was superb and healthy. Staff were very pleasant. Accommodation great. Hope to be able to visit again.
