The hotel staff was friendly and helpfull. They have an elevator for the luggage which was perfect. The restaurant was good and had enough different options. We saw The castle from our room which we loved. The parking was good! You just need to ask where to park. FYI there's no AC but they do have fans. For us this was perfectly fine.

lovely hostel just next to vianden castle. the dorm I stayed in was quite spacious and everything was very clean. the location is perfect, you can see the castle from some rooms. breakfast was included which was also very nice. the staff were very friendly and happy to help! 10/10 I would return
The area is fantastic for a motorcycling holiday. You can get there easily in a day, just use the autoroutes for the first couple of hours to get past the boring bit of France and Belgium. The roads in the area are really good for riding, very good surface, no gravel, all types of bens - fast sweepers to hairpins. The town is very bike friendly. Restaurants stop serving early - apart from Fuku Chines (well worth a visit).

A lovely place to visit for a number of reasons - attractions, hiking, dining etc. Easy to get to but within the town can be hard to get around because it is on a hill. Riverside area is really relaxing.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Ardennes.
Fantastic location in the heart of the Ardennes. Obviously, in times past an important strategic crossing point for the River Our. Plenty of architectural history and the "Disney land" chateau overlooking the town.
Most of the time. its a quiet medieval town, but walnuts are a important part of the local economy, and the second weekend in October is the annual walnut festival. They close the historic town centre on Sunday and the town goes mad, with thousands of visitors. So if you want a hotel room that weekend make sure you book early.

It's a pity the crisis has left its mark as a few places now seem to be closed. On the whole, though, it is still a lovely town, very picturesque and, if you have time, do not forget the castle.
By the way, the Du Pont restaurant is a cheap but good place to eat and has a lovely view of the river and the bridge.

The castle has a good structure and artifacts to see. I miss of one access to see the Vianden city on the top, cause this is blocked on the way.

A really beautiful and quaint little village.
A really beautiful and quaint little village. The castle is well worth the trip. A really informative, self guided tour. A very enjoyable way to spend a few hours. Vianden itself is a photographer's dream. Just so scenic and peaceful.
On arrival at the hotel we we were greeted by the lovely mdm Fernande, who showed us around the hotel and explained all the little things, our room was very nice with everything as expected. The location of the hotel is truely magical, especially in the evening when the castle is lit up, the surrounding forests are ideal for a long walk (or run). All in all a very lovely stay and i would be happy to go back!
A lovely hotel in a fantastic location just a short walk to the castle and cable cars. Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Free parking on site which is great and lots of parking in Vianden if you’d rather drive to attractions than walk. The room was a good size and very clean. lovely restaurants, with a great variety of food. Would definitely return.
Friendly owners, nice studio with all you expect on a camping side location.
Nice view on a hill forest from the balcony. Great hikes in the neighbourhood.
And of course Vianden with its castle is nearby.
