The city is beautiful. The restaurants/food was great. The prices for food and drinks were very, very good. The people were very nice most everywhere. I recommend the side streets for the local restaurants. Like Gosmos Bar and restaurant. Pizza, drinks and service were top notch.

San Miguel de Allende is always a great.
San Miguel de Allende is always a great. We return The service and ambiance of Casa No Name is exceptional! This is our second year staying in the same Suite and we loved it all over again. We brought more friends to stay this year again too and they loved the whole experience. The complimentary breakfast is tasty & light while the omelette is superb as is the charcuterie plate we enjoyed at the private rooftop bar accompanied by artisan mezcals!
A morning cold plunge in the dip pool started each day with a buzz & kept us feeling lively and energized! The staff are always welcoming and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. We look forward to coming back again every year before Thanksgiving and enjoy a quiet week wandering the cobble stone streets popping into artesian restaurants and bars enjoyed taste sensations at every stop! The whole town boasts a feast of sights, sounds and friendly locals. There’s so much to see and do and being an artistic town the music, art, fashion and crafts are truly amazing!

The city was beautiful with all its shops boutiques and rooftop bars and restaurants. The plaza was magnificent with the church being the centerpiece.Staying there before and during Dia de Muertos festival was to die for.I highly recommend eating at a rooftop restaurant right around sunset with a view of the church it is breathtaking. There are many terrazas (roof tops) that are wonderful, like Luna tapas bar, Quince, Tres Marias, Cielo, Tunki plus many more. If you are a photo prerson ther are endless pictures to be had.It is a beautiful and very walkable city.

I have visited SMA several times, and this trip was the shortest visit (only 5 days). In order to really have the time to enjoy the place, and to justify the long drive from Mexico CIty (or multiple flights, depending on your travel plans), it's worth staying there for a couple of weeks, at least. In the past, I have stayed there for 4 or 5 weeks, and that was perfect for me—gave me the chance to settle in and live among the locals, without feeling like I had to rush to see everything possible. And there is a LOT to see, in and around SMA.
The only drawback (and I think this may be every beautiful spot), is that as it has become discovered by travellers, it has become more and more gentrified. Part of the charm of SMA, is the rustic element, which still exists, but is becoming harder to find. The markets, for example, have less locally handmade products, and more China-made products. Too bad, but I think that is the story of the world over.

Lovely city with great hotels, restaurants, shopping, and historic sites. Everyone with whom we interacted was friendly and helpful. Cobblestone streets and stone sidewalks add to the charm. There is a lot to see and do in the city center.

L'Otel was absolutely fantastic. The location was superb. The entire concept of a hotel within an art gallery, restuarant, bakery, champagne bar and multiple high-end boutiques is fantastic. The lobby, the bar, the common areas like the "music room" and the "lounge" were exceptional. The pool and mediation area were lovely. L'Otel is a treasure!
Better than a hotel. Comfortable beds, spacious spaces, TVs, luxury bathrooms, excellent wifi, and the swimming pool is just across the street. The house is in a gated community with a lot of security, and it's very quiet. The house, location, service, and everything were great. Highly recommended!
A wonderful place to stay in San Miguel de Allende, almost like having a rich Mexican uncle who had invited me to stay at his hacienda. The rooms were very well appointed. Then breakfast was made to order and good. The staff could not have been more helpful.
Beautiful romantic and quiet boutique hotel in San Miguel de Allende.
