A great beach resort, mostly known by the local Mexicans and not by the tourists from "north of the border". The new malecon is nice. Trip to Isla de Cocinas is a good option. Prices in the restaurants, etc were good. People were friendly.

    Quite undeveloped beach town.

Quite undeveloped beach town. Fantastic beach, long curved sandy beach. Warm ocean water with sand bottom, no rocks. Some rolling waves, but easy to get in and out.. No surfing. Not many great choices for dinner, especially on Monday when many places close. Jazz restaurant for dinner and Chee Chee for a light lunch were our go to places.
