This is a super unique place sitting directly on the water. It’s very peaceful and the staff is so warm, friendly, and caring. It’s gorgeous you can literally jump into the water from your bungalow! The room had every amenity you need and hot showers. There are activity books as well as restaurants and shops within walking distance. The place is stunning, you feel you are in the jungle but just blocks away from the main street. Ideal option for a quieter stay (not in the middle of bocas town) but walking distance to some beaches, restaurants, etc. The domes are really special - loved the circular window overlooking the jungle. Big Creek is in our opinion the best place to stay in bocas.
Big Creek is in our opinion the best place to stay in bocas. As it is not right in the city and more towards the most famous surf beaches you get the best of both worlds. The Jungle here is so pure and the wildlife is amazing, there are monkeys, sloths and tucans jumping and flying all around you. The Taxi drive to the center costs 2 dollar per person and takes 7-8 minutes. By bike you´ll need approximateley 20 minutes.
If you are looking for amazing Wildlife and some relaxing time out of the noisy "pueblo", then this is definitely the right place for you.
