Our room was everything we would expect from a hotel of this quality from the comfort of the beds, quality of furnishings and facilities. Last but not least it was spotlessly clean.

Excellent hosts, friendly and welcoming, she shared a few ideas, fresh milk! Not UHT. Lovely big spa bath in our room, great water pressure in the shower. Bathroom was well fitted out with hairdryer and make up mirror. Kitchenette also had everthing, coffee capsules and plunger. Comfortable bed.
Surrounded by orchards, Te Mata Views Resort features a hot tub, outdoor pool, sauna and ice bath, free Wi-Fi and accommodations with an outdoor area offering lovely garden and mountain views.

The area had some great wineries and great food options.
The area had some great wineries and great food options. We also really enjoyed the honey tasting. The wineries are worth a visit. Unlike wineries in California and in most other wine regions, these wineries often have a full lunch option. The area has plenty of expensive options for food, but also has plenty of burger places or fish and chip options.

I really hate staying in the Napier , Hastings area.
I really hate staying in the Napier , Hastings area. Rowdy noisy cars racing around town, and the local council does nothing to address it.
Try to avoid staying there at all costs, just having too, sometimes.
Even going to the top of Te Mata Peak, you have people in cars smoking weed, and stereo up load at a beautiful location. Shame people do not realize what they have.

I've been to Havelock North before but was happy to come back again. It is handily situated near Te Mata Peak and the beach communities of Haumoana. There are also a number of great wineries nearby - Black Barn is worth a visit for lunch and on Saturday for the small market. For a small town it has a great selection of eateries and clothing shops - I think the town is reasonably affluent. You can also hire bikes, which I have done before and cycle to the wineries or out to the sea.

We love this area for the vineyards.
We love this area for the vineyards. We had a beautiful lunch at Black Barn and an exceptional dinner at Craggy Range. Havelock North is easy to walk around and has some nice coffee stops. The outdoor pool is worth a visit in the summertime.

Havelock North is a lovely place to spend any length of time. The people are lovely and there are so many food experiences and activities to entertain the whole family both within the village and in nearby locations such as Napier.
The location was superb for our visit to Havelock North. The neighbourhood was quiet. close walking to the village shopping centre, cafes , supermarket. The home was well appointed , comfortable and clean. Supplied was an excellent facility manual for instruction of appliances etc and local services if required. Also the exit procedure required leaving the home.
The staff were excellent and were extremely helpful accommodating us when we needed an early checkin.
The location was perfect being very central to Havelock North village.
would definitely recommend and would stay again.
