The room was a good size as was the bed and we had a bath.
Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

Kenmare is beautiful with a fabulous vibe in the evenings with live music and plenty of bars. Countryside is spectacular and the people warm and helpful. Don’t think about it, just book it.

Great little town. So many excellent restaurants and shops.
Great little town. So many excellent restaurants and shops. Kenmare
lies between the Kerry Ring and the Beara Ring and is not too far from Killarney so lots to experience.
One of our favourite restaurants was the Boathouse Bistro beautiful setting and great food.
On the way to Killarney stop at Mollys Gap to take a photo and make sure to visit the Avoca shop - the gift section is beautiful and the pastries are top.
Grab a coffee before you head off for the day at Bean & Batch - you will not regret it.

The main street of Kenmare is quite charming with the numerous pubs with live music at dinner time. We love the Kenmare Brewershouse and the Horshoe. You don't get the huge influx of tours buses like you do at Killarney. The drive to Lady's Viewpoint is worth the harrowingly narrow roads...watch out for the sheep and one particular Goat who likes to surprise unsuspecting drivers!
If you are a golfer, make sure you visit the Kenmare Golf Course. The Clubhouse is rather nice too.

Getting around Kenmare on foot is easy and there are a lot of interesting sites to visit such as the exhibit of beautiful lace made there, the history told in the visitor information center, the stone circle, and the holy well. Nearby is the Kissane Sheep Farm where we watched a sheepdog demonstration and sheep shearing - fabulous!! I would absolutely recommend visiting Kenmare!

Bridge Street Townhouse is in the perfect location for the shops, restaurants and pubs, right in the heart of the town. The bedroom was huge with everything you wanted. I have to say the breakfast choice and the breakfast itself was fabulous; best I’ve ever come across even in 5 star hotels. The host was lovely and even gave us some free goodies to take home. Will definitely 💯 stay again.
located only a few minutes walk from Kenmare town with plenty of parking at the hotel, although I didn’t use the leisure centre myself other family members with kids did and said it was great, the staff were lovely all over the hotel friendly and helpful even though they seemed to be understaffed! The ladies serving the rooms did a great job and were so friendly!
Location was fabulous as was the whole west of Ireland. The property was spacious and well equipped.
Literally 7 mins drive from the centre of Kenmare which is a lively character town. The host, Jer, made himself available if required and also owned the excellent O'Donabhains pub in Kenmare.
The apartment was very nice and homely, like a small cottage in a very peaceful setting, 7mns drive from the lovely town of Kenmare. Joan and Finn were very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable.
