The continental breakfast was excellent. Our host Vinnie delivered fresh baked bread, croissants and fresh smoked salmon to our rooms the night before so that we could enjoy them at our leisure, along with the juice, milk, cereal, yogurt and fruit that was already there. The rooms were small, but well-equipped (hair dryer, toaster, iron, mini-fridge) clean, and modern. The big outdoor area had a great view and a play area for kids. Very well thought out property. Vinnie was very helpful recommending where to go for good food and great craic (a bit of fun).

this was the most comfortable bed we had slept in over our 10 day trip. The owners were very kind and the rooms were clean and comfortable. they accommodated our request to have our daughter's room near our room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It was 16 minutes from Shannon airport and 2 minutes from Bunratty castle . perfect location to stay before you fly out.

We spent the night there, as we were planning to partake in the medieval feast event. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I lost my booking there so we were invited to have our feast in Kippogue Castle, a mere 20 minute ride away, which proved to be perfect.
so we actually did not spend time there, yet rather in Kippogue Castle. Always a good idea for a visit.

Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer.
Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer. Visiting the castle and folk park takes at least half a day and is well worth it. We also went to the medevial banquet in the castle - this is also worth the money, we enjoyed it a lot. Apart from the castle there are also several pubs in Bunratty, of which The Creamery and Durty Nellie's are my favourite. And if you'd like to shop for souvenirs, Blarney Woollen Mills Bunratty is a perfect place.

We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms.
Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms. If you have trouble walking on narrow steep surfaces you would not have access to most of the castle, however the rest of the park is very interesting and accessible.
Sinead and Shane are both extremely welcoming. The room was spacious, warm and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional, Shane is a qualified chef and this shows, his homemade soda bread is worth a visit alone! The location is ideal Buratty Castle is practically on their door step.
Where should I start? Great welcome and brief overview of Bunratty on check-in, sufficient parking places, nice breakfast and very pleasant stay throughout. The host made us feel at home. Just a short walk from the castle and there's an excellent restaurant 50m away.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The parking was perfect and the Hotel was a short walk from Bunratty castle and complex of souvenir shopping, restaurants and pubs including Durty Nellie's pub famous pub.
Great location being very close to Bunratty Castle. Parking available, good for a one night stay. Our room was small but adequate for the one night, the bathroom was good. Nice breakfast included. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
