The welcome, the ambience, a really nice dinner party with the family and the other guests. Lovely swim before dinner, and so nice to have private parking. Thank you, thank you!
Local village is lovely, great places to eat and very scenic. The Hotel itself is a lovely old house split into multiple rooms one being a sperate appartment split onto 2 floors which is what we had. The house overall is very characterful and definatley somewhere we would stay again, though someof the rooms have collected a lot more nick-nacks and things than in the current photos.
The Host could not have been more friendly and may the stay that bit more special
The host, Brand, was very helpful suggesting places to eat and offering the garden should we choose take-away food. Our room was superb, comprising 3 large chambers of bedroom, bathroom and shower room. The building is historically old but in very good condition and the period feel adds character to the hotel. Plenty of street parking available and an easy walk to the main streets. I would happily stay here again.
A real gem tucked away in a quiet street in Saint-Amand-Montrond yet only minutes off the autoroute making it ideal for our stop off on the way back from Provence. Lovely rooms accessed up a charming spiral staircase, and a wonderful breakfast in the sunny courtyard.
