The property was beautiful. Our family had a quad suite and it was perfect for us.
There was plenty of green space to walk the dog and nice seating outside for people and pets.
It was perfect and right at the beginning of great WWII history.

It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5
We were late arriving on the Brittany Ferries sailing from Portsmouth so we knew by the time we got to the hotel the reception would be closed, so we had to check in at the bar/restaurant across the road.
We struggled to find the actual hotel premises, the lady from the bar/restaurant reception actually walked us over to the hotel. OK, it was dark, we were tired, but still a struggle to find!
The room was spacious and looked modern, Ikea springs to mind. It even had a kettle and tea/coffee supplied.
As a solo traveller doing everything d day , I was looking for another typical French hotel not a international chain , in a quaint location but near to sword beach and pegasus bridge . On arrival the young lady on reception/bar and restaurant, was very helpful. She showed me the room , it was such a lovely room , spacious, luxurious and full of character. Would highly recommend it for its location , staff politeness and willingness to please , nothing seemed to be a problem ....☆☆☆☆☆
The hotel Manoir Hastings was ideally suited for our visit to Benouville and also the church opposite the property. Dating back, it appears, to 1730, the property has a history that would be worth delving into and I am aware that it the 6th Airborne assult on 5/6th June 1944 had the Company HQ in the churchyard opposite.
Its a charming, homely and friendly property which is full of character.
Comfortable room. Good car parking and close to Ferry Terminal for our return to GB. However, what makes this hotel is the outstanding restaurant. Good choice of menus and the best steak we had on our holiday. We stayed here last year and nothing has changed. Friendly and helpful staff. Also walking distance to Pegasus Bridge and less than ten minutes from ferry terminal
The hotel was beautiful and quiet. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed 2 suppers there. Delicious. It had a great location for touring. Saw the Pegasus Bridge, Juno Beach and Juno Beach cemetery as well as tours out of Bayeux, which wasn't too far away. Do not regret staying at this beautiful location for 3 nights
