I knew France shuts down completely on a Sunday, so I can't say how lively the town is on a weekday/Saturday. Cathedral was great, some nice bakeries (albeit bit grossed out by the fact that all the food and pastries were uncovered and the staff weren't that bothered about all the wasps chowing down the items for sale).

its a small town as a stop over on your way to Paris if you fly in late at night or arent in a rush. The growth of the airport is obviously having an impact and the town centre is being refreshed. Theres a nice square in the centre and a few restaurant's and bakeries dotted about. Its cheaper to stay here than Paris and eating out wasnt that much different price wise, which was a little suprising. However the convienience stores for supplies on your trip and the bakeries are better value. A reasonable layover and refresh before heading off again, Im sure the town will grow and develop around the airports growth in the coming years and be a great little stop over in the future.

Well it's not Coventry, so it has a fine patisserie and a low tobacco/bar with an erudite if alcoholic clientele and 1880 Blüthner upright not tuned since 1910 (I borrowed some tools and tuned it). A tapestry museum full of history half a block from my hotel. A population even more diverse than Coventry. I don't see how anyone wouldn't find it charming but a couple of locals claimed it stinks because of some kind of local factory. It has a charming Communist Party headquarters a block from my hotel. Oh yeah and it has the Restaurant Autrement. Two Michelin forchettes and the best meal I've eaten in many years.

Beauvais is a lovely little town and I would highly recommend it, I went because I love to shop for a bargain and I stayed quite literally across the road to a retail park and a bus ride from Beauvais town centre which I loved and will be going back in September 24, I went to many little coffee shops in the town centre all really good.

I just went for a badly needed break and discovered Beauvais has a lot to offer. I didn't sample the nighlife but I spent a lovely afternoon taking in the sights. The town square seemed to be the place for those looking for nightlife. It had lots of cafes and bars on offer.

The cathedral is more than they say it is. The narrative is a lie, they are distorting history. This building is from the millennial reign of Christ. We are now in the little season where satan is let loose.....just look up and see what they are doing to our skies every day

We were greeted by a young woman at reception who was very nice and welcoming.
And we were checked out by a young man,who gave us all the information how to reach the train station and how to reach Paris.
The service was great,the room was comfy and clean,and the destination of the hotel itself is also great.
It was a perfectly nice (and typical) budget airport hotel- perfect for a short stay if you fly in through Beauvais in the evening. They also had A/C, which was a life saver in the French summer heat. The staff were lovely and spoke decent English as well.
The proximity to the airport (5 mins on foot) was a major plus point as well.
Breakfast was good, typical for France. Location perfect for using the train into Paris, which was very civilised . If I wasn’t keen on using the train would probably use the airport bus into Paris. Hotel public areas had a very groovy vibe. Staff friendly and always ready to help. Room furnished well and beds very comfortable.

The restaurant is working at evening hours and there is a chance to have dinner, if you had late flight.
Room is not too big, but there is everything for having a good rest between planes.
A basic but clean and functional hotel for a night before or after a flight from Beauvais airport which is twelve minutes by car. Very friendly staff in case of need for help at the check-in.
