The area is fantastic. The cottages are placed on the soft granite rocks. The kids loved to play outside the cottage. The terrace was very sunny with both morning sun and evening sun. It was nice to sit there. The whole area is very bright and special. And it is extremely quiet. There seems to be no “background noise” at all at this part of Åland, at least not at this time of the year (first days of September). One could almost “hear the silence”. We used the barbecue, which was also very nice.
Very beautiful nature, silent and inspiring place to feel Aland Archipelago. It’s for humans, who are looking natural Baltic sea and islands beauty, but not for loud parties. The owner Sven is very helpful and nice person- thanks him a lot for small private house, because our family stayed for longer period, also with private sauna(!) and grill facilities, svings for the kids and lot of space in the yard for the dog. Thank You, it was really big pleasure to feel a bit Aland’s 🦭
Very clean and nice rooms, cozy atmosphere, big sitting room for being together with our company. Delicious dinner prepared by hosts, very good breakfast! Very good location just on way to Eckerö, very close to Post- and Tullhouse. Great and kind hosts, they even found a solution when one of our group members had technical problems bit bicycle. Would certainly visit again!
Breakfast was included and OK, but e.g. jam would have been nice with the toast. It was convenient to use the refrigerator and microwave in the (evening-closed) dining room. The location is convenient for different shorter trips on the eastern side of Åland; both by car and bicycle.
