Everything was great! We are return guests and this time was even better than the last! The upgrades to the rooms are magnificent! Ingrid has everything you need- plus she has fresh fruit and water in the rooms waiting for you! She even offers pick-up/drop-off from the airport (even in the early morning!) for a reasonable price. Ingrid really goes above and beyond! Only a few minutes from the airport, and a few restaurants and bakery are in walking distance! A great spot if you are in Tahiti for a night or two!

The property is new and well appointed. It is created to feel like you’re in a spa atmosphere. The rooms are small but offer everything you need including dining utensils and hot water teapot. They also have an honor bar in the refrigerator. The outside patio is a nice touch as well. The bathrooms have thick towels and the beds were comfortable with nice thread count sheets.
Just a 18-minute walk from Plage Hokule'a and one mile from Paofai Gardens, Farerei Appartement spacieux, équipé et confortable features accommodations in Faaa with a garden.

Faaa itself is OK.
Faaa itself is OK. It's the Royal room in the hills tgat was problematic. The room is not really as described. Seems it's run by someone else than the owner, possibly absentee house owner. Many people come and go from the Royal. One group came for a visit and occupied the terrace. They were polite and quiet but smoked, so no joining for us. The house cleaness is questionable and it appears there is more lodgers than the one the who sleep in the loft. Living room dingy with curtains closed and sofa. Underfurnished. The bedding feels cheap and polyester-like. Parking is a total headache on a narrow ledge. Finally someone came to move own car but with another motorcycle in the small place that was hardly useful. Dog poo was there, easy to step in. It's close to airport but there are nicer places to stay than here. Valley location was nice. Otherwise do not recommend this place. As to airport facility, it was easy to park a car at longterm to jump to another island for 2 days.

Faaa is the gateway to French Polynesia.
Faaa is the gateway to French Polynesia. It is a beautiful city capturing the culture of Tahiti. I visited several markets while there and was impressed by the local pearl, oils for the skin and fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Tahiti! Thank you from Canada!

Many mosquitoes in Tahiti…bring repellent!
Many mosquitoes in Tahiti…bring repellent! The hosts have mosquito repellent coils lit in the open common area and it helps. A small main gathering area for breakfast, share use of regular size fridge for leftovers, grocery store food, etc. A water machine to refill your own water bottle, coffee maker, hot tea pitcher, microwave, stove, etc all in common area & shared if you’d like to cook own meals. It’s very clean in the area. Also, a washer is available for use for your clothes & hang dry. The hosts are very kind and accommodating.

Faaa is small, but on the other hand everything in Polynesia is :) Take a rental car and explore Tahiti! After a lot of beautiful nature and small islands we were happy with our stay on vibrant Tahiti.
The seawater lagoonarium was one of the best facilities we have seen in any hotel. The ability to swim and snorkel in clear sea water with such a great array of coral and fish was amazing. The hotel provided a cheaper city shuttle service (509xpf per person) to town which is muxh cheaper than a taxi.
There are 4 tv channels with the option of english language - this is more than other hotels on the island. Service was fantastic - especially by Teva at the concierge and Sofia at check in.
Difficult access in spite of apparent proximity to the Airport on the map (uphill, dark and windy streets) a taxi is a must if you are carrying any luggage. The facilities are extremely basic. The pictures on Booking.com do not properly reflect the poor quality of the place. Moving luggage within the hotel is also difficult (steep ramps), multiple levels between rooms.
