The farm is situated in a pretty little area just outside of the town. The area is exquisite, I sat on the verandah in the morning sipping coffee and staring at the mountains, and it was heavenly. The cottage is comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to cook with and we slept extremely well as it's very quiet out there. The host left some farm eggs for us to enjoy which were delicious!

My mother and I needed accommodation for a single night in Worcester - basically just somewhere comfortable to sleep so we could be in town in time for our appointment early the next morning. I came across Kleine Nessie and booked it without thinking about it too much. But goodness! We were so pleasantly surprised.
We loved everything about the apartment. The space was so well planned - two comfortable twin beds, a built-in closet, a spacious dresser and a small, but comfortable table with two chairs makes up the main area. The bathroom was spacious too - I loved the large shower. But, the kitchen deserves a special mention. I'm used to the kitchens in self-catering accommodation of this size often being treated as an "after thought". We didn't need to cook anything during this stay, but we made good use of the countertops to prepare sandwiches. The kitchen was spacious (as with everything else!) a good size fridge, and all the cutlery and crockery you would need on a short stay away from home. (The only thing that might be a nice addition would be one of those tiny ovens with the two burners on top so I could make an oven pizza. But that's really just a friendly suggestion to make things even better.)
I have to say, Kleine Nessie exceeded our expectations - especially in terms of value for money. Well done!

Worcester is a good central point for getting onto Route 62 which takes you through the Little Karoo, it's on the NI and is not far from Cape Town and is only 2 1/2 hours from the lovely West Coast.

Depending on ones intentions, Worcester can be a basis for wonderful trips into the rather interesting mountains, valleys and wine areas surrounding it. The city itself has all facilities one needs.

Our stay in Worcester was overnight on the way to the West Coast.
The town is quaint and pretty.
The mountains in the surrounding area are majestic and worth a few hikes and certainly drives through the valleys and hills.
The town is circled by orchards and vineyards.
There are few prettier and more impressive places in the country.
Worcester is welcoming and has good amenities, making the stay calm and refreshing.

Worcester is the hard of the Blind as their primary and high schools are based in the town.
A huge selection of wine farms, mountains to hike and the famous ATKV Goudini Spa is nearby the town.
Their is also an open air, working museum on the outskirts of the town.
