The Beach Hotel, hotel in Port Elizabeth

Located along the beachfront in Port Elizabeth and with views of the Indian Ocean, The Beach Hotel offers brightly decorated rooms with air conditioning.

I opted for a slightly larger room - this was a quiet, which is important for light sleepers. The bed and pillow were comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was a very nice spread and the staff were attentive. The hotel is just across the road from the seaside and right next to the local mall, so you can always pop over there if you needs something. There are three restaurants at the hotel - I tried two (not the fine dining one) and the food was decent,.

My stay was regrettably too short; I truly wish I could have extended it. Port Elizabeth is vastly underrated, offering an abundance of activities. I yearned for a longer holiday, ideally spanning five days! The city is breathtaking, with its friendly people, pristine cleanliness, and refreshing ambiance.

Professional yet warm and friendly hosts that made us feel comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and the facilities are exactly what we wanted. Much attention to safety and environmental aspects that provide a sense of security and serenity. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. Thank you Tommy and Leonie ❤️

I have stayed at many guest houses and hotels before. The Kelway's staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is central and close to the beach, take aways and not far from Boardwalk mall. Breakfast was a variety every day with fresh fruit on daily basis. The rooms were clean and quiet. Whatever we needed was provided by the staff and I want to than Ruan the manager and Daniell in restaurant for their special care and assistance. I will definitely stay there again.

The swift act showed by one of the receptionists who welcomed us before the arrival time on Friday 9 February with a very willing attitude to help, 👌👌. So sad that I forgot his name but he knows himself. He managed to change the room for us due to problems we encountered during the first night with his heart of willingness to help. The hotel is one of the hotels we always prefer to use when we visit PE so we enjoy it there. Keep it up guys!

A beautiful, characterful hotel in an excellent beachfront position. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Looking after their guests is clearly the number one priority. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room was excellent with a large range of quality foods - the cooked breakfast was first rate. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Good value for money and thoroughly recommended.
