This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It's charming, quaint, historic. One of a kind. Great location right in the centre of historic Borgo San Lorenzo. Exceptionally clean. Helpful owner, who although spoke little English, we were able to communicate ok. Simple continental breakfast is in the cafe next door. I would definitely return here again. It's not luxurious (no swimming pool, no tea/ coffee station...), but it's a little glimpse into a bygone era. Good value too.

Charming hotel in the old style in a deep secluded valley. We stopped there on a cycling trip. The owners were friendly, relaxed and generous. I think we were the only guests that night.
At breakfast we could choose what we liked from the deli-counter. The coffee was delicious, perhaps the best breakfast coffee of our week in Tuscany.
