The property was very well situated and all the areas for activities were less than 5km which was fantastic, we even took a morning walk to go have breakfast. It had ample chilling area in the yard with beautiful art and sculptures.
Timothy the caretaker was very friendly and helpful.
Overall property was easy to locate and has inside parking.

It has the best views, very quite, the upside down was underwhelming. The cable ride is a must, little paris was nice, the boat trip for 2hrs is a must, it's not a Uber friendly place as waiting times are long in our experience

This a beautiful piece of South Africa with a huge dam surrounded by mountains. It's not overrun by touristy places. The built up areas can be modern or quaint but there's still so much untouched expanse. So near to Johannesburg.

Its a nice town with a lot to do and its quite hard not to like it. For people that love typical african food and vegetables you may need to stock up as you come. The chameleon park was fun for kids including the snake and animal park. Getting around Hartbeespoort is quite easy as traffic is low except at the Hartbeespoort bridge

The area is refreshing with beautiful mountains and the dam. There are a lot of activities and areas to visit. We enjoyed the Cradle of human kind and the dam. We easily found restaurants and village mall had everything we need.

I just didn't like that we always had to go around the dam...
I just didn't like that we always had to go around the dam to get to our place... Such a drive, if only we had a speed boat to cross the dam, that would be nice. But it's quite a nice place to be at. Refreshing and has very scenic views.

The staff are a credit to the hotel. From Pearl, Jeanette, Nkosi and Pauline to mention a few, to the spa staff, everyone is very friendly and courteous. The breakfasts were excellent. Dinner was a delight and we didn't even bother going out for the three nights of our stay. Even bug spray was supplied, although we had our own. Snacks, fruit and water in the rooms were very welcome. Absolute value for money.
