The free breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip! It was a bit of a walk to the town center, but it was good to walk! There was a pool table which was a hit for our grandkids! Very nice staff!

Each room is individually designed. I stayed in "Iron," which had its own private balcony. Everything was super clean and modern. Nice touches like espresso machine with pods and hot water kettle with variety of teas. Expansive sack and drink selection in room. Very comfy beds. Large, well-lit bathroom. Responsive and friendly staff. They offer a city card that gives you free access to local busses/trams and some museum discounts. Great breakfast, too. Will definitely be staying here again.

We could travel easily to Bolzano and from there we could use the cable car to the Ritten Plateau and the funicular at the top. So many beautiful things to see and do! The Iceman museum at Bolzano was another highlight, as were the Christmas markets at both Bolzano and Merano.

Such a beautiful place!
Such a beautiful place! Wonderful old building surrounded by lovely plants and flowers with a stunning river flowing through. Great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Lots of little trails for exploring. You can also take a chairlift up to a little mountain village to get an amazing view of Merano.

Merano is a wonderful city with lots of opportunities for...
Merano is a wonderful city with lots of opportunities for fine walks - easy up to challenging. The environment is Mediterranean beautiful with lots of nice flowers everywhere and breath-taking views to the mountains around Merano.
Especially beautiful is a trip to the gardens of Castle Trautmannsdorf - which we visited already the second time.
Even on Sundays it was easy to buy food in open supermarkets for breakfast. In the evening it easy to find beautiful and stylish restaurants with excellent kitchen.
We also enjoyed our ride to Village Tyrol and the trip up to Hochmuth.

The town is very interesting & of a good size.
The town is very interesting & of a good size. You can get into the countryside within a few minutes. The villas are stunning along tree lined streets. Riding a bike or walking these streets is a treat. Put Merano on your trip list!

Merano was great, however it was marred by our accommodation which was underneath another apartment undergoing constant noisy renovations, and we had to check out two days early with no refund from our unhospitable host.

the apartment was sparkling clean and super comfortable. 2 balconies, fully equipped in all you on every basis. nice and cozy. location for me is perfect as it’s 5 min from the train station and 5 min from the Main Street with all the shops and restaurants. you’re close enough but not in the city. all is like in the pictures
The hotel room was clean and spacious. The balcony is nice but the noise from the motorway too high. The parking lot in the garage is included in the price. The restaurant food is good with good level of choice. The staff is very helpful.
This hotel is a part of Hotel Bavaria, therefore breakfast and other stuff is shared with this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bathroom as well. It was a calm location
