We booked the room for the bathtub and it met our expectations.
The room was clean and the breakfast was decent, also the WiFi was fast.

About Paltinis, they (as in the leaders of the city/comune etc.) should do more for it.
The road to Platinis is great (quality but also the road itseld), the surroundings are absolute gorgeous (mountains, "alpine" plains ...), the other cities around it are also great and full of things to visit ... so indeed is a great place to visit !

I love Paltinis!
I love Paltinis! It s the place me and my family learnt to ski 10 years ago, but we all return here with pleasure and joy. The air here is fantastic, clean and pure, the locals are great people always willing to help when need, the food is very tasty, the mountains do make me proud I m Romanian!

Boring from the second year (very short slopes), e3xcept maybe for 1 quick day to run to ski.
Tottally lacks commercial support and other distraction beside skiing.

The location, staff, cleanliness, everything was great. It’s a quiet getaway from the city, with fresh air and everything you could possibly want from a guesthouse. The kitchen has everything that you could need, there’s a fireplace ready outside. Two of them, actually. There’s also two friendly dogs and a very cuddly and communicative cat. Daniel was also extremely helpful, including getting us a lift from Sibiu to Paltinis when we arrived. Highly recommend.
The hotel is the cleanest I've seen so far in Romania. The atmosphere is really nice, they make efforts to ensure that the guests are comfortable. The views are spectacular! The Spa area was also great, we were pleased to see that it was a place where we could actually relax without noise, loud groups, or lots of kids running around.
Villa Ștefana is a lovely place for relaxation vacation where you can enjoy mountains paths in a not crowded place. Paltinis is a little village on top of mountains.
