There is so much construction in Cortina in preparation for the 2026 Olympics. There is no where to park if you want to visit the city center. We drove around for 30 minutes. There’s a long one way road and if you don’t find a spot you have to loop all the way ground again. This was frustrating. I would stay in city center or in another smaller town. Pretty views but larger city, construction, traffic- but lacked the charm we found in Ortisei

Mid june: For people looking for peace and nature, dont go on a weekend. It was a display of high end cars and super noisy and swarmed with ppl.
But Tre Cime was so so great. I would love to return in summer, I couldnt finish my desired trail due Snow (mid june)... the amouint of ppl on the trail was just enough. But maye it is worthy suffering the initial flow and hope that not so many follow the furthst hiking trails.

This is a luxury ski town.
This is a luxury ski town. If you are coming to do any casual shopping, this is not your area unless casual to you means Prada or Gucci. Also, there is virtually no apres or nightlife, however there are some really great restaurants.

A bit busy for a tourist destination, lots of heavy traffic on the main road that leads to the old city center.
Lots of places to eat and shop, but not many places to walk around, at least in the winter.

This is a great place for a ski holiday fantastic skiing and huge range of places to eat and bars and a cornucopia of high end shops to browse the mountains are divine. I am sure it would be just as goos as a walking holiday destination in spring summer and autumn. Despite the glizzy reputation there is something for everyone here and the town is a great place to wander about in.

It was a great stay! The hotel is located in the heart of the mountain range in a beautiful setting. The building itself has a wonderful charm from the outside, but the rooms are all well-equipped, modern and they offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Also, they are spacious and comfortable too! There are quite a few trails start at your doorstep, right next to the hotel. The bar & bistrot is nice and functional.
The location was great and the hotel was very cozy. I first thought my room was to light in the night, but I can just close the windowns from the balcony and it became very dark. Futhermore, the window is sound proof, so it was very silent during the night. I had a great experience.
