We loved everything about the propriety starting with location and finishing up with amazing homemade breakfast.
We stayed in room # 204 and had a breathtaking view towards Tampa Mountain and birds thrill in the morning. The staff was super friendly starting with front desk and finishing with breakfast attended. I am not a big fan of hotel breakfast but You MUST have some breakfast here because it’s very tasty and homemade. The room-clean , and housekeeping services available at the guest convenience! An absolute gem of a city. Fascinating history and beautifully situated, surrounded by stunning mountains. The main square is a wonderful place to have a meal in the evening and wandering the small back streets is a joy. During the summer it is well worth a trip further out to Poiana Brasov, you can take an uber easily or the number 20 bus & enjoy walking / hiking / mountain biking in the Carpathian Mountains. Just a very special place. Highly recommend it.

Great restaurants, wonderful vistas. It is also easy to move around with their hybrid public transportation. Also, the famous Poiana Brasov ski resort, up in the mountains, was a much needed oasis of a bit cooler weather (34 degrees Celsius in Brasov, downtown, while 28 degrees Celsius up in Poiana)....

Beautiful old town centre with cobbled streets and a lot of restaurants, shops and hotels nearby. You can use public transport and taxis at a convenient price.Also walkable distance to visit interesting touristic attractions! Anytime I would go back and enjoy my time off.
Who likes Indian food then will get a curry in the old town centre. The best Romanian cuisine to eat is at Ceasu' Ráu!

Excellent food, coffee, plazas, museums, transportation, (please add whatever you want after excellent and will be thru for sure). And then, is the Tampa with the Hollywood sign. Such a nice touch like a brand label you get to see enjoying the above.

We flew into Bucharest and got the bus to Braşov, which was a shuttle bus 8 seats, 3 of us on it, took just over 2 hours, quicker and much cheaper than the train. 100 lei each extra 20 to be dropped at the door of our hotel, company we used was direct aero port, we used them to take us back to Bucharest as well then got a bus into the city for 3 lei.
Brasov is really pretty with lots to see good for a couple of days, we had a trip booked to Brans castle and peles castle which got cancelled a couple of days before as peles castle is closed on a Monday, so the hotel kindly arranged a taxi to take us to Brans castle, he waited for us and took us back, brilliant service, we also did the bears in the wild tour from Brasov, we were lucky and saw two brown bears. There is 5g in Bravos internet connection was brilliant the whole time I was in Romania, Braşov definitely worth a visit.
I absolutely loved Monarch House! This is a very stylish hotel with really comfortable and spacious rooms that just have character. The bed was very comfortable, everything in Brasov was just a quick Bolt/Uber ride away (incl. the train station and old town). The old town can also be reached in ca. 15-20min walking.
The staff at the hotel was really oustanding! Incredibly kind and always helpful! So happy with this accommodation and cannot wait to come back!
A really positive and helpful welcome from the host. The suite was amazing. The Bistro and the food was really good. Location perfect on the main pedestrian street in old town Brasov. Everything in walking distance from hotel.

The hotel was very well heated, even the batroom floor was warm. The breakfast was very good and with lots of options. It's near the old town next to everything. The hotel restaurant was nice too it's an old wine cellar and they have traditional romanian food and mexican. We tried mexican and it was good. Overall a nice stay
The location simply could not be better for exploring Brasov old town. You are right next to everything you need to see and do. The room is very classy and modern. You will do well to find better for such a price in Brasov. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Brasov who wants location and comfort.
