The staff was very welcoming they made us feel at home. The place was very homie. We were able to relax, and the surroundings gave the town of Ataco an extra touch that made us wish we would have stayed longer. We will definitely come back again. Thank you, everyone, at Fleur de Lis. See you again soon.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Any photos online do not do the garden justice. You can tell there is so much love put into the area, the staff we met with were equally wonderful and welcoming to us. The breakfast was delicious with the coffee and orange juice. The room that we were given was utterly beautiful, we were coming from staying on the coast where there was no hot water, so this is the location where we had our first hot shower of the trip and it was a truly joyful experience - no issues at all with anything in the rooms, everything was very modern and comfortable, it's incredibly safe and has parking as well. Jose was fantastic with our check in and very patient with us and allowed us to arrive early to store our bags so we could venture out and explore, he was very accommodating and met our every need with a smile - super easy to talk to! We are looking forward to returning in the future!

The location was great. Easy to get to the festivities and celebration of Farolitos. The bed was comfortable and smelled clean. Antonio was super friendly and helpful. It was great just sitting on the porch with the dogs watching the people go by. He has a great love and devotion to helping the street dogs in Ataco. It is a great mission.

Really big space right in the middle of town. Super comfortable bed. The jacuzzi takes a long time to feel up but was splendid. I love the decor and art inside the apartment. It really vibes with the artsiness of the town. It's a great value and I would stay there again.

I could easily stayed an entire week in Ataco and take more time to visit the nearby communities. The air is fresh, you hear birds singing in the trees, you see spectacular scenes of mountains scarfed in clouds, roads canopied with trees, tasty food and gourmet coffee.
I was visiting with my kids during reading week. The poor kids were as stressed as any college student could be, and they had time to relax, recharge, and even managed to study a bit.
I probably put on a couple of pounds eating "pupusas" and hot chocolate. The food may be simple as fresh vegetables or fruites or as elaborate as "gallo en chicha", the Salvadorean version of "coq au vin".
Your time will be worthwhile at this idyllic town that could take you away from traffic, rushes, and never ending to-do lists.
