Breakfast was wonderful especially because of the personalized waitress service for a particular drink of coffee or a specialized way to have your eggs.
And this was in tandem with a self serve area with good choice of breakfast foods.
Location very good at the square.

Hotel Feichter is top-notch at all levels — comfort, convenience, affordability, cleanliness, and, especially, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Oh, the breakfasts — an exceptional buffet that includes multiple (and special!) homemade fruit jams and stewed fruits. I would highly recommend staying there. It is staffed by several generations of highly service-oriented members of one family — and now another generation is joining in. I’ve loved this place for years, and it gets even better with new times

Bolzano is one of those cases that are difficult to describe without risking undermining its beauty and complexity. A witness of the conflicts and renaissance of Europe, this Italian city is the capital of the German speaking province of South Tyrol. Located in the Adige River Valley, it is surrounded by hills crowned by castles, and framed by the Dolomites Alps.
After reaching the local railway station, follow the Bahnhofsallee or Viale della Stazione and you’ll reach Walther Square, where the beautiful Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady is located. The shops along the arcaded street of Via dei Portici will lead you towards the market, located in Goethe Strasse. The display of colourful vegetables and flowers encompasses the beautiful buildings, while some of the best luxury hotels in Bolzano are located nearby.
The city is famous for its Christmas Market, but be aware that most of the hotels in Bolzano get sold out quickly during this time! A stroll around the old residential quarter of Gries and a visit to the many nearby castles is a must.
Whether you arrive at the local Dolomites Airport or the larger Verona Airport, check out the Bolzano accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling!

Good location for easy access to the DOLOMITES, although start early, about a 30 or 40 miute drive. Shopping district was where the hotel, plaza and restauratnts were - varied and many.Traffic was a bit intimidating with construction project; the ZTL zones are many - but well maked here.

At the doorstep to Dolomiti, with quaint charm of its mixed heritage of Italian and Tirolean cultural influences. The winyards on the steep slopes of the surrounding hills are a wonder. Visiting Ötzi/ archaeological museum is well worth it.

The location is great. Just outside the Centro Storico so it’s nice and quiet, but still close enough to walk to the station or around the centre. Very conveniently located to the cable car and the Bolzano travel card is an amazing free perk! (I can’t believe some guests refuse it!!)
Breakfast is good quality and leaves you wanting for nothing. The front of house staff are friendly and very helpful as well as multi-lingual. The on-site facilities include a small pool, sauna and gym.
The team at B&B Hotel Dolomiti was one of the kindest and most welcoming I've ever met. Mr. Moreno and Mrs. Antonietta were helpful in answering my questions about the city. The breakfast was nice. The location was useful for me, as I could reach the city center in just a few minutes, and Bolzano's bus system is very efficient.
The hotel has that old world charm but with modern amenities. We loved the pool and garden and the summer bar. And then there is the fabulous glasshouse restaurant, Contanima. All this in the wonderful setting of Bolzano with the Dolomites nearby to be discovered!
The hotel provided a free travel ticket, which enabled us to take the bus into the centre of Bolzano. You could also use the ticket on any public transport, including the cable car to the top of the mountain!
