Alberobello is a small town in the Apulia region of Italy,...
Alberobello is a small town in the Apulia region of Italy, known for its unique trulli, which are traditional stone dwellings with conical roofs. These structures are characterized by their whitewashed walls and gray stone roofs, and they were built using a dry stone technique that has been used in the region for centuries.
The town has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, due to its exceptional example of a traditional Mediterranean settlement. The trulli are primarily found in two districts: Rione Monti and Aia Piccola. Visitors to Alberobello can explore these charming buildings, which often house shops, restaurants, and accommodations.
In addition to its architecture, Alberobello offers a glimpse into local culture and history, with opportunities to taste regional cuisine and participate in local festivals. The town is a popular destination for tourists seeking to experience the unique charm of southern Italy.

It was beautifully unique!! It was quiet and so peaceful.
It was beautifully unique!! It was quiet and so peaceful. We were greeted when we arrived and shown to our Trulli. It was so beautiful. We had far more than we needed for breakfast including cakes, orange juice, coffee and of course cakes. It was a 5-10 minute drive to the grocery store or restaurants. We can’t wait to return for a much longer stay.

The Trulli homes are amazing!
The Trulli homes are amazing! Town center was 30 M away the people and the atmosphere was nice.
I ate mostly at Cucina Del Trulli in the Hotel Lanzillotta where I stayed. Everything is within walking distance.
This was our favorite stay in Italy so far! The host, Anna Maria, became like family. She was the sweetest person and took time to show us the grounds, explain to us the city, make a scrumptious authentic breakfast. You rarely find a host like this. She is the sweetest. The Trulli was such a remarkable place to sleep in for two nights- very historical. This one in particular was beautifully decorated by the host, comfortable bed, AC, stunning bathroom. It also had a secret garden feeling outside! Was BEAUTIFUL
Centraly located apartment in new Alberobello, just few steps away from city center and just 5 min walk from old part of town with traditional trulli houses.Quit and calm neighbour.Very big apartment with 2 bed rooms and bathroom. There is nice garden were you can have coffee.Fantastic communication with stuff.Beds were comfy.Wifi worked perfect.Lot of restaurants and cafe's near.I recommend this apartment
15 mins walk from town centre. Large, luxurious fully furnished apartment with lots of amenities and wide variety of food and drinks available for breakfast. The host has a friendly and helpful disposition. Like the other apartments we stayed in Italy, knowing how to speak in Italian is essential but we had an Italian driver to assist us.
Great location and wonderful host! Everything was as listed and even better. if you are looking to experience a trullo in this beautiful part of Italy, look no further and book this place. You will not be disappointed!
