It’s comfortable, affordable, and has a warm vibe. I especially loved the unique handmade Amalia statues created by the owner. They add a personal and artistic touch to the place. The self check-in method was super convenient, making the check-in smooth and hassle-free. Nihaila (the housekeeper) is incredibly friendly, and the property is well-kept and spotless. Its location is ideal, away from mass tourism but still close to everything you could need. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a supermarket, two beautiful beaches, a dive spot (The Tug boat), and even nightlife at Jan Thiel Beach. I’m already looking forward to my next stay at Casa Amalia!

The hotel is located in the center of everything and is modern and clean. Good value for a good price and totally enjoyed our stay. Loved the rooftop pool with the amazing view. The bartender made us some delicious frozen coctails to complete the perfect afternoon we spent there.

Ühise puhkeruumi, terrassi ja aiavaatega butiikhotell Atelier Skalo asub Willemstadis, 1,7 km kaugusel Avila rannast. I stayed here for a week with my mom and we loved everything! Corisa and Diego gave us the most warm welcome. They truly make you feel at home! They are always willing to help you out and make your stay comfortable. Skalo Boutique Hotel is located in a beautifully renovated old building. The patio is a nice and quiet place to have breakfast (Corisa's breakfasts are highly recommended!), to read a book or just to listen to the birds. From the hotel, it is an easy walking distance to the city centre with highlights such as the Handelskade, and neighbourhoods like Otrobanda. We had a spacious room with a kitchen unit, including a fridge and small stove. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, and with a modern bathroom. We were sad to leave when our holiday was coming to an end. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!! Corisa and Diego made our holiday an unforgettable one!
