Rock Garden Sipi es un alojamiento de 4 estrellas que se encuentra en Kapchorwa, a 6,6 km de Cascadas Sipi, y que dispone de terraza, restaurante y bar. Great stylish huts in a beautifully arranged garden - despite some minor construction going on, the place still felt very tranquil. The inside of the hut was surprisingly bigger than expected from the photos. Alex is a great host, he and his lovely family and staff were able to pack our short visit with an interesting coffee tour in the evening, a beautiful waterfall hike in the morning and some delicious meals in between. Overall I am very happy we chose Alex's place for our stop in Sipi and wouldn't hesitate to stay longer if time allowed. As a very thoughtful bonus, Alex's kids even hosed down our awfully dirty car (mud-splashed from our previous travels) when we were on our hike.

Location is really great as there are plenty of birds and even some occasional wildlife to keep you occupied even when out of the national park. The sunset over the river is exceptionally beautiful.

Paradise Eco-Hub ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Kabale, frente a la playa, y tiene jardín, zona de playa privada y salón de uso común. This eco lodge is solar powered with delightful staff and a wonderful view over the lake from the verandaed stilt house dining area. It's isolated and tranquil with some traditional huts for accommodation. We sat upstairs on the covered verdanda for hours, drinking beer, using the wifi (intermittent but it does work!) and watching the huge national bird (crested crane) fly over head and nest in the trees nearby. Loved the view. Also ate meals there - of course a bit more expensive than in town but still fairly priced and tasted good. Free purified water offered. (no shops on the island) Take a taxi or moto from town to the boat (20 mins). Then take the little boat with outboard motor (book ahead with the lodge). (Lodge will tell you how much to expect to pay for the taxi). We were there in the rainy season and still loved it. Appreciated the hot showers after trying out the traditional wooden dug out canoe in the rain! Really recommend this place if you enjoy simplicity and nature away from the busy towns in Uganda.

Cwmbale Eco-Safari Lodges, Restaurant and Zoo. Está en Mbale, a 50 km de Tororo Railway Station, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. The facility was wonderful, vibrant, open spaces on the slope of beautiful Wanale Ridge. The cabins were spacious and comfortable, but the best was the staff - everyone we met was courteous, kind, and accommodating. We had a very unique special request, staff went above and beyond helping us. We would be more than happy to stay again.

JET VILLAS ENTEBBE ( JVE ) se encuentra en Entebbe, a 2,1 km de Playa Sailors Herb, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Gracias a Benjamin en la recepción, nos registramos muy tarde en la noche pero tuvimos que salir más temprano, queríamos mudarnos a Kampala pero las tarifas de Uber eran 140.000 chelines, desde Entebbe hasta la ciudad de Kampala. Nos informó que solo podíamos usar 10.000 chelines usando el transporte público, no lo sabíamos, aunque gastamos 17.000 chelines mudándonos a la ciudad de Kampala, aún así era un medio más amigable que Uber. El hotel es muy bonito, las habitaciones son grandes, con aire acondicionado, un restaurante, aunque no tuvimos tiempo para comer, boda boda nos llevó a solo 7 minutos de la carretera principal. También está cerca del aeropuerto,

Gorilla Leisure Lodge está en Kisoro, a 47 km de Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Staff were awesome...such a welcoming and service oriented group. Particular mentions to Tony who was always ready to help and share a joke and to Lazarus the manager who was so welcoming and informative. The rooms were luxurious...huge bathroom with bath, huge balcony with beautiful views, big and comfortable bed. We had full board option and the food was excellent and plentiful. Attention to detail...drink on arrival, ensure we had everything ready for gorillas trek, turn down beds with hot water bottles, fruit in room, clean shoes after the trek.. etc Location was only 10 minutes away from start of gorilla trek so extra sleep in
