Everything was good. The host was always in touch. They were ready to help.
Huge windows with the view on the towers.
Coffee, tea and the amazing Svaneti salt were provided. You can find everything what you need in the kitchen (you can cook there but bring the food from Mestia because it's hard to find a shop there) and in the bathroom.
We loved to stay there.
Thanks!

Very homely property, it’s like staying in someone’s house, because you could see many family photos and preserved vegetables that locals eat during winter. The food served in her cafe was also very nice, the property owner made them herself, we saw her make the dough from flour.
When we told the property owner that we had to head back to Mestia early morning (6am) the next day, she brought us to her friend who could bring us back by taxi and the rate was reasonable (200 GEL).

The owner was relatively friendly and could speak English. Dinner (30 GEL extra) was good too and the portions were big. There is a nice yard and with how small ushguli is, everything is pretty close by. It's nice if you just want a place to crash for a night.

This is my second time staying in this guesthouse. Very cosy guesthouse in the middle of Ushguli. Comfortable and warm rooms with a shared bathroom. Loved the dinner and breakfast on offer (30 GEL per person for dinner and 25 GEL for breakfast) - it was delicious and very filling. Highly recommend.
Ushguli is uniquely beautiful. A one-of-a-kind location.
Ushguli is uniquely beautiful. A one-of-a-kind location. Quite simply a dream. It deserves time spent here. More than a day trip. You can hike. You can sit and soak up the unforgettable views. Wandering through Ushguli is like stepping back in time. We stayed for two nights and it was quite simply one of the top highlights of our travels to date. Our mistake: not staying longer.
Ivasu khari, Ushguli! ❤️ ("Thank you, Ushguli" in Svan)

Authentic beautiful mountain village. Definitely recommend. But it is cheaper to get there then to return from it to Mestia.
You can go hiking to Shkhara glacier by foot or take a horse for half a way.

Ushguli an amazing place. I travelled from Tbilisi by car.
Ushguli an amazing place. I travelled from Tbilisi by car. The roads are not the best and you will need a 4WD car, but you will be rewarded with amazing views. untouched landscape and unforgettable views. When in Ushguli you will feel like someone sent you back to another century and this is what gives this village a distinctive charm. In the village itself you do not need a car, everything is walking distance and make sure you do walk around and dive into the village life. When you visit Ushguli even in Summer be aware that it can get a little chilly in the evening outdoors.
