We (my wife and I) booked or 4 days to check it out. Overall we stayed a good 2 weeks, but in other locations that you can find for cheaper. We loved the island for its beauty and laidbackness. It is a great alternative to the tourist hotspots, for families with kids, couples, travellers, and to a certain extent also nightlife-lovers with some weekly parties of Reggae, Techno/House, Psytrance occurring...of course no comparison to Ko Phangan and mainly old freaks retiring here ;-)

What a beautiful, mostly unspoilt island, lovely beaches, jungle and no cars! Laid back atmosphere. The food was amazing, much, much better than in Koh Tao where we are now. Lovely local people. A real gem - let’s hope it doesn’t go the way of Koh Samui and Koh Tao.

The Island is incredible - beautiful, lush and lovely to explore by scootie, cycle or walking. Our fav restaurant was The Kitchen Table run by Chioko. Best brusketta and place to hang with sweet kitties and dogs. Also Flower Power has excellent Italian food. We loved our stay in Bamboo Bungalos. Can’t wait to go back! Pure heaven.

The weather, the scenery.
The weather, the scenery. The beaches were all stunning and the sunsets at JJ Beach resort were amazing!! Plenty of good restaurants on the island. Can personally recommend Flower Power and Cha Chai Hime for vegetarian food.
All round good vibes on the island.

Nothing if you are in the second raw bungalows.
We booked for 5 days and looked for another place the very same day we arrived. The location was terrible, the view was to a wall from the bungalow in front, totally overpriced, and they kept telling us that if we didn’t like it we should talk to booking.com. Needless to say that the tv, the air-conditioned didn’t work,… total rip-off.
They are lying to you when the sell the second row bungalows!
This place is amazing. All the beautiful details in the bungalows and the garden with small cosy sitting areas and hammocks. I think, it is the cutest place, I have even been to in Thailand.
And the whole staff is so nice and helpful.🙏 They all make your stay very special and the food is yummi yummi. Don't forget to try the mango sticky rice
Beautiful, traditional bungalows and buildings surrounded by nature. Very sweet family with a young lady in charge of running the place. 5 mins walk from a huge beach and they can rent you a moto too! Fantastic.
