I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.

In my opinion, Had Rin is not suitable for families at all, but only for young people who like to lie on the beach most of the day and wait for the full moon parties.
The best beaches are: Koh Ma Beach, Secret Beach, Malibu Beach
Those who want a luxurious treat should go to the Anantara Rasananda at the northern end of Copenhagen.

The beach was lovely & was cleaned every morning. The sea was warm & crystal clear. There were bars & restaurants on the beach & a nightly fire show. Also many little walkways from the beach leading to more bars, restaurants, shops & places to book travel/trips

The staff is so kind, helpful and there for anything you need. We stayed at 6 different places during our stay in Thailand and i would have been more then happy to stay there the entire time. the food and breakfast spread was absolutely to die for, we didn't eat anywhere but there!

We spent three days as a couple in the bungalow. The view of the sea, cliffs, and Haad Rin was absolutely stunning. The room was small but clean and cozy. It could use more shelves and hangers for clothes, though. The veranda with a hammock and a bench was perfect for evening conversations with the soothing sound of the sea.

The rooms were fabulous, very spacious and so clean. The staff were amazing. So attentive and helpful. The breakfast was tarty we ordered two mornings. The french toast and pancakes were delicious. The pool is lovely and has a wonderful view from it. Good location for Haad Rin beach. Far enough away from the noise but still just a very short walk. I would highly recommend this accommodation to all of my friends and family. The staff organised taxis for us also to the Port and near by towns. Thank you so much for a great stay.
I came here with my 15 year old son. Chose to stay at Sanksara and so glad I did. Tucked away in the corner, Away from the hustle of Haad Rin. The Beach here is perfect. Staff amazing. We stayed in the sea view bungalow for 2 nights. Then 3 nights in a garden view bungalow (with AC) so that was the compromise of having to move. We loved Both options. Highly recommend to stay here if you are planning a Koh Phangan visit on Haad Rin beach
This hotel was perfect for the Full Moon party. We were right on the doorstep of Haad Rin beach, so we got free entry to the party, once we didn’t leave and come back through the main entrance of the party. The hotel were helpful to organise things for us, like a taxi transfer and tickets to the jungle party. There was a pool party the day of the full moon party which was good fun.
The beds were the comfiest we have found in thailand so far. the air conditioning was good, as was the wi-fi, if you want to go to the full moon party it’s possibly the best location, 5 minute walk from the full moon beach. so many bars, shops, restaurants, fire shows, view points. the balcony and the hammock was even better.
Great location to Haad Rin beach, perfect for the Full Moon Party. The owner was so lovely and very welcoming to us! The beds were lovely with lots of pillows. The AC was good and not got hot. The pizza was yummy
