Palmas exceeded our expectations. Despite the fact that it is a reasonably large and planned city, it has the atmosphere of a small town. Praia Graciosa is a wonderful and active place with restaurants, wonderful live music and also with boats you may rent for the day to visit 3 islands around or just take a ride to Canela Beach, where you can enjoy a nice lunch in the water.
Seara Restaurant has a wonderful buffet and the best caipirinha we’ve had.
A little tricky to memorize the streets design as it is full of round-about which makes it a little confusing.
A nice city, will return one day to explore further.
The hotel is located in the centre of town, lots of restaurants and stores closeby, even late in the evening it's easy to eat delicious.
The staff is very helpful and competent : I had a problem and the lady at the reception swiftly resolved it!
Breakfast is simple but very tasty ; the staff friendly and helpful.
The shower was the best I ever experienced in Brazil: high water pressure resulting in a strong jet, refreshing and relaxing in the sweltering heat of Palmas.
I like mainly the location. It is close to the university, to the shopping and several other restaurants. The hotel is clean and had a room earlier as I asked. I am not able to score the restaurant or the breakfast, since I spent only one night.
