This property is about 10mins from Sky Avenue And is in a development zone. When we booked it advertised a fully finished property only to arrive to 1 tower of 3 completed. The image of the building is the finished property only. On the 49th floor it led to an open roof with no barriers (only for maintenance) but was horrifyingly accessible by my teenagers who walk straight out looking for the sky pool which did not exist.
The rooms were cleaned but had a residue of building dust, no soap in the bathroom, absolutely nothing on the TV and no information about the hotel. It became completely clear within 20mins we had been sold a hotel that was clearly in soft opening stage with false advertising of its completion.
We subsequently checked out and did not stay the night. The Hotel management barely even tried ro understand why or offer any completion at all. I highly recommend this Hotel tale a very good look at its safety practices especially on the 49th floor leading to the roof which is so dangerous it’s not funny! (See roof access pictures attached)

What I like? lots of family activities and lots of things to do.
What i didn't like? everything is expensive. The food is expensive. The taxi fare is expensive. Either you go up and down the highlands using road or skyways cable car, the journey both ways are dangerous and nerve-wrecking.

It's a place to visit in Malaysia. However, one does not require to stay overnight as all the tourist attractions could be covered in a day trip from Kuala Lumpur.

Nice place to be there for a day to see different part of country. If you have kids or you like to play in casino, it's a perfect place. Or if you just like to relax at hill station, even then its a nice place. Not too far from main kuala lumpur city

We have visited Genting Highlands on many occasions but never stayed in a Hotel there.
Staying overnight or for a few days allows you to relax and take in the overwhelming atmosphere at Genting, it's in a league of its own and a recommended travel location

The hotel room is spacious which is a plus point for me and the location is convenient for me to move around in Genting Highlands, check in is through kiosk which is definitely more convenient for me compared to queuing up.
Spent most of the time outdoors thus not really particular about the room. Decent stay with basic facilities. The room was clean and the bathroom was big. 5-10 mins walk to the theme parks, shops & food via Resort Hotel.
Overall the place is clean and what i like about the residences/hotel it has playground for toddlers. The sky deck and swimming pool is pretty and spacious.
