Offering a garden and garden view, Streete retreat centre N91 CF20 is located in Westmeath, 25 km from Mullingar Greyhound Stadium and 32 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre.

From the moment we arrived when Maria greeted us outside after parking our car, we had great experience at the Streete Retreat. Her and Joe are a great couple who are the epitome of old fashioned Irish hospitality. Lovely room, super breakfast (well done Joe). Very peaceful and tranquil house in a very quiet village. Will be back.

Perfect place to stay upon your arrival to Dublin or on your way out to the airport the following day. Just under an hour from the international airport, so you can ease your way into driving on the "wrong side" of the road and eliminate tackling the adjustment in the middle of the city (save that for later in your trip, my advice) So just heading west for a bit and then off the motorway for just a few minutes and you are here at this gorgeous property. The owners could not be nicer nor more accomodating. Very comfortable rooms, lovely sitting room with a cozy fire going, tea cake served in the afternoon and the *best* Irish breakfast going in ten counties, I swear! I just love the Templemacateer House. Farm animals are the bonus feature, too.
